Giza PyramidsDay 2: Giza's Grandeur and the Grand Egyptian Museum
After a delightful breakfast, your expert guide will lead you to Cairo's most iconic historical sites. We begin our exploration on the Giza Plateau, where the magnificent Pyramids of Giza, ancient wonders from the 4th Dynasty (around 2600 BC), stand as enduring testaments to an extraordinary civilization. You'll stand before the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the only surviving ancient wonder, and gaze into the enigmatic face of the Great Sphinx, carved from a single limestone outcrop. Nearby, we'll visit the Valley Temple, a vital component of the funerary complex, where mummification rituals were once performed. Later, prepare to be awe-struck at the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), a state-of-the-art facility housing an astonishing collection of artifacts, including the complete treasures of Tutankhamun. The GEM also features the colossal statue of Ramses II and the 'Hanging Obelisk,' offering a profound journey through 5,000 years of Egyptian ingenuity. We'll pause for a delicious lunch at a local Egyptian restaurant before returning to your hotel.

Karnak TempleDay 3: Luxor's East Bank & Dahabiya Embarkation
After breakfast and checking out, we'll transfer you to Cairo Airport for a short domestic flight to Luxor. Upon arrival in Luxor, your guide will take you directly to explore the awe-inspiring East Bank. Our first stop is the Karnak Temple Complex, the largest religious structure ever built. Sprawling over 247 acres, it served as the spiritual heart of the New Kingdom for millennia, dedicated primarily to the Theban Triad. You'll marvel at its grand halls, obelisks, and sanctuaries, showcasing the pinnacle of ancient Egyptian artistry. Afterward, we'll proceed to embark on your luxurious Dahabiya Nile Cruise. Settle in and enjoy lunch on board. As evening falls, your guide will lead you to Luxor Temple, a magnificent sanctuary dedicated to the rejuvenation of kingship, beautifully illuminated as the sun sets. Return to your Dahabiya for dinner and your first night on the tranquil Nile.
- Karnak Temple Complex — Explore the world's largest ancient religious site, dedicated to Amun, Mut, and Khonsu.
- Luxor Temple — Visit this stunning temple, particularly beautiful when lit up at night, and walk along part of the Avenue of Sphinxes.

Temple of HatshepsutDay 4: Luxor's West Bank Treasures
Today, we delve into the mysteries of Luxor's West Bank, the ancient 'City of the Dead.' Our first destination is the Valley of the Kings, the burial ground for pharaohs and powerful nobles of the New Kingdom. Here, you'll descend into some of the decorated tombs, experiencing the vibrant artwork and intricate religious texts meant to guide the deceased to the afterlife. Next, we visit the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, a stunning example of New Kingdom architecture, impressively carved into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari. Our final stop on the West Bank will be the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, silent sentinels guarding the entrance to his now-vanished mortuary temple. We return to your Dahabiya for a delicious lunch as we begin our gentle sail upstream. Enjoy dinner and the peaceful rhythm of the Nile.
- Hatshepsut's Temple — Admire the unique terraced temple of the powerful female pharaoh.
- Valley of the Kings — Explore the burial site of New Kingdom pharaohs, including Tutankhamun.

Day 5: Edfu, Kom Ombo, and Nile Vistas
After a delightful breakfast on board, we'll disembark and take a charming horse-drawn carriage ride to the Temple of Edfu. This incredibly well-preserved Ptolemaic temple is dedicated to the falcon god Horus and offers a unique insight into ancient Egyptian religious practices, with its nearly intact pylons, courts, and hypostyle halls. We return to the Dahabiya for lunch, continuing our leisurely sail along the Nile. Our next stop is the distinctive Temple of Kom Ombo, a 'double temple' unusually dedicated to two deities: Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder. Perched scenically on the riverbank, it features mirrored courtyards, halls, and sanctuaries for each god. As the day draws to a close, we'll return to the Dahabiya and continue sailing towards Aswan, enjoying dinner on board.

We start at the Aswan High Dam, a monumental engineering feat completed in the 1960s, vital for Egypt's agriculture and electricity. Next, we take a short boat ride to the enchanting Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Originally located on an island that was submerged, the entire temple complex was meticulously relocated to Agilkia Island, preserving its stunning beauty. This temple is a testament to the strong connection between ancient Egyptian mythology and Ptolemaic architecture. You'll return to your Dahabiya for a delicious lunch and afternoon relaxation. Dinner will be served on board, as you enjoy the peaceful ambiance of Aswan.

Abu Simbel TemplesDay 7: Abu Simbel Excursion & Return to Cairo
We offer an early breakfast box today as we embark on an optional, but highly recommended, morning excursion to Abu Simbel by private, air-conditioned vehicle. These colossal rock-cut temples, carved into the mountainside by Ramses II, are among the most magnificent ancient sites in Egypt. Dedicated to Ramses II and his beloved queen Nefertari, they showcase incredible reliefs and massive statues. The temples were famously relocated in their entirety to save them from the rising waters of Lake Nasser, an astounding feat of modern engineering. After experiencing the grandeur of Abu Simbel, we'll return to Aswan for lunch at a local restaurant. Later, you'll be transferred to Aswan Airport for a domestic flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, a private vehicle will take you to a luxurious 5-star hotel for check-in and your final night in Egypt.
