After a delightful breakfast at your Luxor hotel, your dedicated Egyptologist guide and private vehicle will whisk you away to the famed West Bank. Our first stop is the legendary Valley of the Kings, the burial ground for New Kingdom pharaohs like Ramses the Great and the boy-king Tutankhamun. Descend into several intricately decorated tombs and marvel at the vibrant art. Next, we visit the striking Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a unique terraced structure carved into the cliff face, celebrating the reign of one of Egypt's most powerful female pharaohs. Pause to admire the impressive Colossi of Memnon, two colossal stone statues guarding the entrance to what was once Amenhotep III's mortuary temple. Following our West Bank exploration, we'll enjoy a relaxing boat trip on the Nile, culminating in a superb lunch on an island. Our final major site is the colossal Karnak Temple Complex on the East Bank. This vast open-air museum, dedicated to the Theban Triad, evolved over millennia, showcasing grand pylons, hypostyle halls, and many other impressive structures. As the day concludes, you'll transfer to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo, and then connect to your onward flight to Sharm El Sheikh, where our representative will ensure a smooth transfer back to your hotel.
