Your adventure begins with an early morning hotel pickup in Cairo, whisking you to the airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, a friendly Travel Joy Egypt guide will greet you, ready to unveil Luxor's ancient wonders. Our first stop is the magnificent Karnak Temple Complex. This sprawling sacred precinct, built over millennia, showcases the immense power and artistic prowess of ancient Egypt. Wander through its forest of columns, grand courtyards, and the iconic Avenue of Sphinxes. Following a delightful lunch aboard a traditional boat sailing along the Nile, we'll explore the graceful Luxor Temple. Illuminated in the evening, its monumental pylons and courtyards are simply breathtaking. We'll then check into your lavish 5-star hotel, allowing time to refresh before an optional, mesmerizing Sound & Light Show at Karnak, where history literally speaks to you. After a delightful breakfast and hotel checkout, we cross to Luxor's fabled West Bank, often called the 'City of the Dead.' Our first stop is the legendary Valley of the Kings, a secluded necropolis where pharaohs of the New Kingdom were interred in elaborate, decorated tombs, hoping for eternal life. Your guide will lead you through selected tombs, revealing their intricate hieroglyphs and vibrant wall paintings.
