Greeted by one of Travel Joy Egypt's representatives upon disembarking their cruise ship in Alexandria Port, guests are escorted to the awaiting transportation.
During the approximately 3 hour drive to Cairo with a midway stopover, arrangements permit admiring views of the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus rising against the skyline. Brief introductions at the Great Sphinx precede entering its associated Valley Temple.
After replenishing over a locally sourced lunch, the visit continues at the renowned Egyptian Museum. Here, thousands of artifacts from the pharaonic periods including Treasures of Tutankhamun are preserved – a collection spanning over 5 millennia of priceless art. As time allows, the drive guides to Khan El Khalili bazaar before rendezvousing at Alexandria Port in good time for ship boarding later.
