Giza PyramidsYour adventure begins with a convenient transfer from your Makadi Bay hotel to Hurghada Airport for a flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, your expert Egyptologist guide will greet you, ready to unveil the wonders of the ancient world. Our morning is dedicated to the Giza Plateau: witness the sheer scale of the three Great Pyramids, including the Great Pyramid of Khufu, a marvel of ancient engineering. Stand before the Sphinx, contemplating its mysterious gaze, and explore the ancient Valley Temple, where pharaohs once underwent sacred purification before burial. Following a delicious lunch, we'll visit either the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), a state-of-the-art facility showcasing incredible artifacts like the Hanging Obelisk and the full Tutankhamun collection, or the historic Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square, depending on the latest operational status. As evening falls, we transfer to Cairo Airport for a short flight to Luxor, where you'll check into your luxurious 5-star hotel for the night.

- Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) / The Egyptian Museum — Depending on the most optimal visitor experience, we will explore either the newly opened Grand Egyptian Museum, a modern marvel designed to house Egypt's vast treasures, or the traditional Egyptian Museum in Tahrir, home to an invaluable collection spanning millennia of history.
Valley of the KingsAfter a delightful breakfast at your hotel, we check out and begin our exploration of Luxor's West Bank, a realm of pharaonic tombs and mortuary temples. Our first stop is the renowned Valley of the Kings, the necropolis for New Kingdom pharaohs, where elaborately decorated tombs house the mummies and treasures of kings like Tutankhamun and Ramesses II. Next, we visit the stunning Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a terraced architectural masterpiece carved into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari. Before heading to the East Bank, we pause at the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of Amenhotep III, guardians of what was once his grand mortuary temple. Enjoy a picturesque lunch, potentially incorporating a serene boat trip on the Nile. Our afternoon culminates with a visit to the colossal Karnak Temple complex, an extraordinary open-air museum and the largest ancient religious site in the world, dedicated primarily to the Theban Triad. As the day concludes, we’ll transfer you back to your hotel in Makadi Bay, reflecting on your incredible two-day journey through Egypt's iconic past.
