After a hearty breakfast at your Luxor hotel, we'll transfer to the airport for a short domestic flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, your Cairo-based Egyptologist guide will welcome you, ready to introduce you to the iconic wonders of the Giza Plateau. Stand in awe of the Great Pyramids of Giza, ancient marvels of engineering and testament to pharaonic ambition. Encounter the enigmatic Great Sphinx, its ancient gaze fixed on the horizon, before exploring the nearby Valley Temple, critical for millennia-old mummification rites. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a restaurant offering magnificent views of the pyramids or the Nile. Our journey continues to the magnificent Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), a state-of-the-art facility showcasing 5,000 years of Egyptian history, including the complete Tutankhamun collection.
