Day 1: Welcome to Egypt: Arrival in Cairo
Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, a friendly Travel Joy Egypt representative will greet you, assist with customs and baggage, and introduce you to your private Egyptologist guide. You'll then be chauffeured in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle to your luxurious 5-star hotel for a smooth check-in and a relaxing evening.

Giza PyramidsDay 2: Giza's Grandeur and the Dawn of Discovery
After a delightful breakfast, your expert guide will lead you into the heart of ancient wonders. Stand in awe before the Giza Pyramids, including the Great Pyramid of Khufu, a marvel of engineering and the last standing ancient wonder. Pose for photos with the enigmatic Great Sphinx, guardian of the necropolis. Conclude your morning at the Valley Temple, where pharaohs' mummification ceremonies once took place. Karnak TempleDay 3: Journey to Luxor: Dahabiya Embarkation & East Bank Exploration
After breakfast and check-out, you'll be transferred to Cairo Airport for a short domestic flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, your guide will meet you and whisk you away to begin your Nile cruise adventure. Board your luxurious dahabiya, your floating boutique hotel for the next four nights, and settle in. After lunch on board, we'll explore Luxor's vibrant East Bank. First, marvel at the colossal Karnak Temple Complex, a sprawling open-air museum built over two millennia. As evening descends, experience the magical illumination of Luxor Temple, an exquisite temple dedicated to the rejuvenation of kingship.
- Karnak Temple Complex — Wander through the monumental halls, courtyards, and sanctuaries of this vast religious site, dedicated primarily to the god Amun-Ra.
- Luxor Temple — Admire the elegant architecture of Luxor Temple, dedicated to the Theban Triad and beautifully lit up after sunset.

Valley of the KingsDay 4: Luxor's West Bank: Valley of Kings & Queens
Today, we cross to the fabled West Bank, home to some of ancient Egypt's most iconic burial sites. Our journey begins at the Valley of the Kings, where pharaohs of the New Kingdom sought eternal rest in elaborately decorated tombs. Next, visit the magnificent Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a stunning example of ancient Egyptian architecture carved into the cliffs. Conclude our West Bank exploration with a stop at the towering Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues guarding the entrance to what was once Amenhotep III’s mortuary temple. Return to your dahabiya for a delicious lunch and dinner as we begin our serene sail along the Nile.

Day 5: Nile's Treasures: Edfu, Kom Ombo & Serene Sailing
After a hearty breakfast onboard, we'll disembark for a charming horse-drawn carriage ride to the impeccably preserved Temple of Edfu. Dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus, this Ptolemaic-era temple offers an incredible glimpse into ancient Egyptian religious practices. Return to your dahabiya to continue sailing, enjoying lunch with scenic views. Later in the afternoon, we reach the unique Temple of Kom Ombo, a twin temple dedicated to two deities: Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder. Observe the fascinating medical instruments depicted on its walls before returning to your dahabiya for dinner and a peaceful night.

Day 6: Aswan's Wonders: Engineering and Sacred Sanctuaries
Wake up to the tranquil beauty of Aswan and enjoy breakfast onboard. Today's exploration focuses on the Nubian heartland. First, visit the monumental Aswan High Dam, a modern engineering marvel that dramatically altered Egypt's landscape. Next, take a serene boat ride to the enchanting island temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis and painstakingly relocated to save it from the rising waters of Lake Nasser. Return to your dahabiya for a delightful lunch, with the rest of the day at leisure to soak in the Aswan ambiance or explore the local market. Dinner will be served onboard.

Today begins early with a packed breakfast as we embark on an unforgettable excursion to Abu Simbel. Journey by comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle to witness the magnificent twin temples carved directly into the rock face by Ramesses II, a truly awe-inspiring sight. These temples were famously relocated in a monumental engineering effort to save them from the rising waters of Lake Nasser. After soaking in their grandeur, we'll return to Aswan for lunch. Later, transfer to Aswan Airport for your domestic flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to a luxurious 5-star hotel for your final night in Egypt.


Day 8: Departure from Cairo
Enjoy a final delicious breakfast at your hotel.
