Day 1: Aswan City Tour - Aswan ONUpon arrival in Aswan, a representative from Travel Joy Egypt will transfer you by private van to your Nile cruise ship. Check-in before 12pm. After boarding and having lunch, a tour of important landmarks will begin. This includes a visit to the High Dam built in 1960 to control flooding. Then a boat ride to Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis and built in the Graeco-Roman era. The tour also includes seeing the unfinished Obelisk made of red granite for the god Amun-Ra. After the tour ends, you return to the ship. In the evening you have free time in Aswan. Lunch and dinner are provided. If arrival is early, the tour may start right away to make good use of time before check-in.
Breakfast will be served onboard. Later, an Egyptologist guide will lead a visit to Kom Ombo Temple, dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris gods. See the unique site. Return to the ship for lunch on the sun deck with views of the Nile landscape. After, enjoy a tour to Edfu Temple, renowned for its preservation. See Horus Temple. Afterwards, return to the ship. Spend afternoon relaxing onboard. Dinner will be served, followed by an evening folkloric show by staff.Meals included: Breakfast Lunch Dinner
Breakfast will be served onboard the Nile cruise. Then begin a magical tour of Thebes, the sacred area. Explore Luxor's west bank including the Valley of the Kings, the burial site of Pharaohs. See the place housed ancient Egypt's rulers. Then visit Hatshepsut Temple at Deir El Bahari, remarkable for its architecture carved within the mountain. The tour ends at Memnon Colossi belonging to King Amenhotep III. Afterwards return to the ship for lunch. Spend the afternoon at leisure. Check out after breakfast at 8am. Then explore Luxor's east bank including the immense Karnak Temple Complex, considered the world's largest at 100 acres. Complete the lovely tour at Luxor Temple built by 12th dynasty kings and later Ramses II. Once the day tour is finished, private transportation will transfer you to your Luxor location, concluding Travel Joy Egypt's services.Meals included: Breakfast
Day 1: Luxor East Bank - Luxor ONUpon arrival in Luxor, a representative will transfer you via private air-conditioned van to your Nile cruise. Board before 12pm. In the afternoon, explore Luxor's east bank including the immense Karnak Temple Complex, regarded as humanity's largest religious structures dating back to the 3rd Dynasty. See Amun Ra's abode. Then visit Luxor Temple built in the 12th Dynasty and finished by Ramses II. After finishing, return to the ship for rest. An evening folkloric show is operated by staff with dinner provided.
