04 Days / 03 Nights Program (Every Monday)
Day 1: Aswan City Tour - Aswan ON Upon your arrival in Aswan, a representative from Travel Joy Egypt will greet you and transfer you by private air-conditioned van to your luxurious Nile cruise ship, the M/S Al Hambra. Check-in is before 12 pm. After settling in, you'll enjoy a lunch meal onboard. Next, you'll visit the High Dam, an iconic feature of Aswan built under President Gamal Abdel Nasser in 1960 to regulate the Nile river's flow. Afterwards, a short motorboat ride will take you to Philae Temple, a Graeco-Roman temple dedicated to the goddess Isis. Your last stop will be the unfinished Obelisk, an immense granite monument began for the god Amun Ra. Once the sightseeing concludes, you'll return to the ship for the evening. Dinner is included while the night is free for your own leisurely activities in the lovely city of Aswan. Not to waste any time, should your arrival be early, the tour will commence right upon arrival given the cruise check-in time is 12 pm. Meals included: Lunch Dinner NB: If your arrival time to Aswan is so early, we will start the tour direct upon arrival as the cruise check in time is 12:00 and we don't want our guests to waste their time waiting at the lobby.
Day 2: Kom Ombo - Edfu & ON
Start your day with a hearty breakfast served onboard the M/S Al Hambra. Next, join your learned Egyptologist guide for a visit to the Temple of Kom Ombo, known for being dedicated to the worship of crocodile god Sobek and falcon god Haroeris. Return to the ship to dine on lunch with stunning Nile views from the sun deck. Spend the afternoon exploring the excellently preserved Temple of Horus in Edfu, legendary for its architecture, in a scenic horse-drawn carriage. Afterwards, relax onboard as dinner is served. Day 3: Luxor West Bank - Luxor ON
Start your day with a savoury breakfast while sailing the Nile aboard your luxury cruise. Embark on a spellbinding excursion through Thebes, once the spiritual centre of ancient Egypt. First stop - the Valley of the Kings, final resting place of Pharaohs. Next, explore the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, a true marvel of architecture carved into the mountainside. Conclude at the Colossi of Memnon statues built in honour of Amenhotep III. Afterwards, return to the ship for lunch. Spend the afternoon at leisure. Day 4: Checkout - Luxor East Bank
Begin your day with a morning breakfast at 8am. Post check-out, immerse yourself in discovering the wonders of Luxor's East Bank. First up is the colossal Karnak Temples Complex, among the largest religious structures ever built. Believed to cover an area of over 100 hectares, it was devoted to the chief Theban god Amun-Ra. Next, explore the Temple of Luxor established by a 12th dynasty king and later reconstructed by celebrated pharaoh Ramses II. Upon completing the day's sightseeing, you will be transferred by private air-conditioned van to your Luxor accommodation, bringing our services to an end. Meals Included: Breakfast

Day 1: Luxor East Bank - Luxor ON Upon reaching Luxor station or airport, a Travel Joy Egypt rep will chauffeur you aboard the M/S Al Hambra Nile cruiser by private air-conditioned van. Embarkation before 12pm. This afternoon, explore Luxor's East Bank starting with the magnificent Karnak Temples Complex - among humankind's grandest architectural feats honouring Amun Ra. References date structures back to Egypt's 3rd Dynasty. Next, behold Luxor Temple established by a 12th Dynasty king and later additions by Ramses II. Once sightseeing concludes, return to the ship for relaxation. Then rejuvenate over dinner before an evening of Egyptian cultural performance by the crew. Not to waste time, should you arrive early, touring will commence directly to make full use of daylight. Day 2: Luxor West Bank - Sail to Edfu & ON
Begin your day with a nourishing breakfast while sailing past majestic cliffs and greenery along the Nile. Disembark to uncover mystical wonders of ancient Thebes' West Bank. First up, traverse the awe-inspiring Valley of the Kings tombs of pharaohs entombed in the limestone ridges. Then, proceed to Deir El Bahari to marvel at the temple complex of Queen Hatshepsut, an architectural phenomenon carved entirely within the mountainside. Day 4: Aswan City Tour - Aswan ON

Day 5: Disembarkation from cruise - Departure to Cairo
After a hearty breakfast, it's time to check-out. Our representative will drive you to Aswan airport or station for your onward travel to Cairo. Optional Tour: Visit Abu Simbel with a guide - a marvel awaiting 185kms south of Aswan. A private air-conditioned van will whizz you through the landscapes. Upon arrival, admire the Great Temple and the smaller one - both immense structures raised by Ramesses II, one honoring himself and Queen Nefertari. After taking in the awe, commence your return while glimpsing rural scenery. In Aswan, the van will either drop you at your selected hotel to refresh, or shuttle you directly to the airport for a domestic flight homewards. A memorable Nile adventure draws to an end!
