After lunch onboard, you will visit the High Dam built by President Nasser in 1960 to protect from Nile flooding. Then a motor boat will sail to Philae Temple erected in the Graeco-Roman era for Isis. Lastly visit the unfinished Obelisk made of red granite for Amun Ra. Afterwards return to your ship. After breakfast this morning we will checkout from our Nile cruise. Our representative will then transfer us to Aswan airport/train station to catch our outbound flight/journey to Cairo. Optional Tour: An excursion to Abu Simbel is available either by private coach or domestic flight, where we'll be met by an English-speaking guide. They will drive us in air-conditioned transportation to visit the impressive temples of Abu Simbel built by Ramses II. We'll discover the Great Temple dedicated to Rahorakhty and the smaller temple honouring both the Pharaoh and Queen Nefertari. Following the touring, we'll return to Aswan where we'll either check into a hotel for rest or proceed directly to the airport to depart for Cairo. Included meal: Breakfast
