Day 1: Aswan City Tour - Aswan ONUpon arrival in Aswan, a representative from Travel Joy Egypt will greet you and transfer you by private air-conditioned van to your Nile cruise ship where check-in begins at 12:00 PM. Have lunch onboard. Then visit the High Dam built in 1960 AD by President Nasser to control Nile flooding. A motorboat will sail to the Temple of Philae dedicated to goddess Isis, constructed in the Graeco-Roman era. tour the Unfinished Obelisk, a monumental red granite structure intended for the sun god Amun Ra. Return to the ship afterwards. Dinner onboard. If arrival is early, sightseeing will start directly to make full use of time before check-in.Meals included: Lunch Dinner
Breakfast will be served onboard the ship. Then an Egyptologist tour guide will take you to visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, where the crocodile god Sobek and eagle-headed god Haroeris were once revered. Return to the ship for lunch on the sun deck while admiring the Nile's scenery. After, enjoy a chariot ride to the Temple of Horus in Edfu, renowned as one of Egypt's best-preserved temples. Upon concluding the tour, transfer back to the ship. Relax onboard in the afternoon. Dinner will be provided. Then begin a magical tour in Thebes by exploring the west bank of Luxor, including the Valley of the Kings which served as the royal burial site for Theban kings and ancient Egyptian rulers. Next, proceed to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, renowned as one of antiquity's finest architectural works carved into the mountainside. Conclude the tour at the Colossi of Memnon statues belonging to King Amenhotep III. Return to the ship for lunch. Afternoon is free time. Then enjoy a tour of Luxor's East Bank, including the immense Karnak Temple Complex renowned as the world's largest religious building covering an area of over 100 hectares. Conclude the day's wonderful tour at the Temple of Luxor constructed by a 12th dynasty pharaoh and completed by King Ramses II. Following the completion of the day tour, private air-conditioned van transfer will be provided to your Luxor accommodation where our services conclude.Meals included: Breakfast
Day 1: Luxor East Bank - Luxor ONUpon arrival at Luxor airport or station, a Travel Joy Egypt representative will transfer you by private air-conditioned van to your Nile cruise ship for check-in before 12:00 PM. Afternoon begins with discovering the East Bank of Luxor, including the immense Karnak Temple Complex - the largest religious structures ever built dating back to the Middle Kingdom with some aspects attributed to the 3rd dynasty, all dedicated to the principal god Amun Ra as the earthly abode of god. Also visit the Temple of Luxor constructed during the 12th dynasty and finished by King Ramses II in this iconic Theban city center devoted to Amun Ra. Return to the ship after the tours conclude for rest. An Egyptian folkloric show will be held by staff in the evening along with dinner onboard overnighting in Luxor.
