Day 1: Aswan City Tour - Aswan ONUpon arrival in Aswan, a representative will transfer guests by private vehicle to the Nile cruise ship. Check-in before 12pm. Lunch will be on board. Then a visit to the High Dam, built in 1960 to control Nile flooding. Next, a sail by motorboat to Philae Temple, from the Greco-Roman era dedicated to Isis. Finally, a trip to the Unfinished Obelisk, made of red granite for Amun Ra. After the tours, guests return to the ship. Evening is free in Aswan. Lunch and dinner included. Guests arriving early may begin tours immediately to avoid waiting, as check-in is at 12pm.
Breakfast will be served onboard. Then guests will visit Kom Ombo Temple with an Egyptologist guide. Dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris, it was worshipped briefly. Returning to the ship, guests enjoy lunch on the sun deck while viewing the Nile's landscape. Afternoon features a chariot ride to Horus Temple in Edfu, highly preserved. Back on the ship, guests relax onboard. Dinner is served, followed by an Egyptian folkloric show performed by staff. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
After breakfast onboard, the magical tour of Thebes begins on the west bank. This includes exploring the Valley of the Kings, final resting place of Pharaohs. Next is Hatshepsut's Temple at Deir El Bahari, carved within the mountain, a wonderful architecture example. The tour ends at the Colossi of Memnon statue of Amenhotep III. Returning to the ship, guests have lunch. The afternoon is free time, followed by dinner and overnight onboard. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included.
Checkout is at 08:00AM after breakfast. Then a tour discovering Luxor East Bank begins, including Karnak Temple complex, the world's largest covering 100 acres. Last is Luxor Temple constructed by 12th Dynasty kings and finished by Ramses II. Following the day tour's conclusion, guests are transferred by private vehicle to their Luxor accommodation, where services conclude. Breakfast is included.
Day 1: Luxor East Bank - Luxor ONUpon arrival in Luxor, a representative will transfer guests by private vehicle to the Nile cruise. Check-in must be before 12pm. That afternoon involves discovering the East Bank sites, including the immense Karnak Temples complex - the world's largest religious buildings dating back to the 3rd Dynasty. Dedicated to Amun Ra, considered the god's earthly home. Next is Luxor Temple, constructed by 12th Dynasty kings and finished by Ramses II. Returning to the ship offers rest. An Egyptian folkloric show is presented by staff in the evening. Dinner is served and guests stay overnight in Luxor. Lunch and dinner included. Any early arrivals may begin touring immediately to avoid wait, as check-in closes at 12pm.

Next is a short boat ride to Philae Temple on Agilkia Island, dedicated to Isis and Horus during Greco-Roman times. The unfinished Obelisk project hewn for Amun Ra is also toured. Upon return to the vessel, lunch is served. Afternoon tea is available. Dinner and the night's stay are in Aswan, with time at guests' leisure until then. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are part of the experience.
Guests will checkout after breakfast. Then they will be transported to Aswan airport/station for their onwards travel to Cairo.Optional tour: an Egyptologist guide leads visitors by private vehicle from Aswan to Abu Simbel, located 180 miles south. Constructed during the reign of Ramesses II, a tour explores the impressive Great Temple of Ra-Harakhty and smaller temple dedicated to the king and his queen Nefertari. After the historic site, guests are returned to Aswan for check-in at their chosen hotel or Aswan airport transfer. Breakfast is the only meal provided.
