Day 1: Aswan City Tour - Aswan ONUpon your arrival in Aswan, a representative from Travel Joy Egypt will greet you and transfer you by private air-conditioned van to your luxury Nile cruise ship, the MS Royal La Terrasse. Check-in before 12pm. After lunch onboard, you will be taken to visit important locales around Aswan such as the High Dam built by President Nasser in 1960 to control flooding of the Nile. Following this, a motor boat will bring you to the Temple of Philae from the Graeco-Roman era dedicated to the goddess Isis. Lastly, you will be taken to see the Unfinished Obelisk made of red granite in honor of the god Amun Ra. After the tour, you will return to the ship. In the evening, guests are free to explore Aswan independently. Meals included: Lunch, Dinner. Note - should you arrive in Aswan early, the tour will begin as soon as you board the ship by 12pm to make optimal use of time.
Breakfast will be served onboard your cruise. Then a knowledgeable Egyptologist guide will take you to visit the magnificent Temple of Kom Ombo, where the crocodile god Sobek and falcon god Haroeris were worshipped. Returning to the ship, enjoy your lunch from the sun deck while admiring views of the Nile landscape. In the afternoon take a chariot ride to the exceptionally well-preserved Temple of Horus in Edfu. Once the tour concludes, you will be aboard the ship again. Later relax on the vessel. Dinner will be provided in the evening followed by an Egyptian folkloric show performed by the staff.Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Breakfast will be served onboard the cruise. Your magical tour of Thebes' west bank begins with exploring the Valley of the Kings, final resting place of Pharaohs. Following this you will visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, an architectural marvel carved into the mountainside. Last on the itinerary is seeing the Colossi of Memnon statues of King Amenhotep III. Afterwards, return to the ship for lunch. The afternoon is free at leisure. Check-out will be after breakfast at 8am. Then embark on a discovery of Luxor's east bank including a tour of the colossal Karnak Temples Complex, the world's largest religious site. Following this, finish at Luxor Temple constructed initially in the 12th dynasty and later additions by King Ramses II. Once the day tour concludes, Travel Joy Egypt representatives will transfer you by private air-conditioned van to your Luxor accommodation, marking the end of services.Meals included: Breakfast
Day 1: Luxor East Bank - Luxor ONUpon your arrival at Luxor airport or station, a Travel Joy Egypt rep will pick you up in an air-conditioned van and transfer you to the MS Royal La Terrasse Nile cruise ship, boarding before 12pm. In the afternoon is a tour of the gigantic Karnak Temples Complex, mankind's largest religious buildings dedicated to Amun Ra - considered the earthly home for the god from Middle Kingdom times. Next is a visit the Luxor Temple constructed by the 12th dynasty and later additions by King Ramses II. This temple located in ancient Theban heart was likewise dedicated to Amun Ra. Following the touring, you will be taken back to the ship for rest. An Egyptian folkloric show presented by staff takes place in the evening. Dinner is served before overnighting in Luxor harbour. Note board check-in may begin upon early arrival to make optimal use of time.Meals included: Lunch, Dinner

Afterwards, return to the ship where lunch is provided during the voyage towards Kom Ombo.In the afternoon, explore the Temple of Kom Ombo dedicated formerly to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Haroeris. Back on board, enjoy the beauty of the Nile landscape from the sun deck while having lunch.Dinner is served that evening as your cruise heads to Aswan. Upon arrival exploration of the grand Abu Simbel structures begins, featuring the massive Great Temple of Ramses II as well as the smaller one dedicated to the king and his queen Nefertari. Afterwards, the return drive delivers guests back to Aswan where transfer is provided either to your chosen hotel for check-in or to the domestic airport for a flight onwards to Cairo.Meals included: Breakfast
