Day 1: Aswan City Tour - Aswan ONTravel Joy Egypt representatives will greet you upon arrival in Aswan and transfer you by private vehicle to your cruise ship for check-in before 12pm. Your first meal onboard will be lunch. Next, a tour guide will take your group to visit the High Dam, built by Gamal Abdel Nasser in 1960 to control Nile flooding. Then you will take a motorboat to Philae Temple on Agilika Island, constructed during Greco-Roman period and dedicated to Isis. The last landmark is the Unfinished Obelisk, made of red granite for Amun Ra. After the tour concludes, you will return to the ship. The evening in Aswan is unscheduled.Meals: Lunch, DinnerNote: If arrival in Aswan is earlier than 12pm, the tour may start immediately rather than waiting at the ship.
Breakfast will be served onboard. Then an Egyptologist guide will take the group to visit Kom Ombo Temple, where Sobek and Haroeris were worshipped. Return to the ship for lunch on the sun deck with views of the Nile landscape. Afternoon activities include a chariot ride to Edfu Temple, considered one of Egypt's best preserved. The tour concludes and everyone returns to the ship. In the evening, relax on board with dinner served. A folkloric show will be performed by the staff.Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Breakfast will be served onboard the Nile cruise. Then begin a magical tour of Thebes' west bank with an Egyptologist guide. This includes exploring the Valley of the Kings royal cemetery and burial site of pharaohs. Next is Hatshepsut Temple at Deir El Bahari, considered one of the finest architecture examples as it is carved into the mountain. The tour concludes at the Colossi of Memnon statues of Amenhotep III. Return to the ship for lunch. The afternoon is unscheduled. After breakfast at 8am, check out of the cruise. Then tour the East Bank of Luxor including the vast Karnak Temple complex, considered the world's largest at 100 acres. Complete the touring at Luxor Temple constructed begun in the 12th dynasty and finished by Ramesses II. Following the conclusion of the tour, guests will be transferred by private vehicle to their Luxor accommodation, marking the completion of services.Meals Included: Breakfast
Day 1: Luxor East Bank - Luxor ONUpon arrival at Luxor station or airport, a Travel Joy Egypt guide will transfer you by private air-conditioned vehicle to your Nile cruise for check-in before 12pm. The afternoon tour discovers the vast East Bank complexes, including Karnak Temple - the largest religious structures in history. Constructed for the god Amun Ra, earliest parts date to the Middle Kingdom with references to the 3rd dynasty. Next is Luxor Temple within ancient Thebes, built by 12th dynasty rulers and finished by Ramesses II, like Karnak dedicated to Amun Ra. After the tour concludes, guests return to the ship for relaxation. In the evening a folkloric show will be on board before dinner and overnight in Luxor.Meals included: Lunch, DinnerNote: Should arrival time be early, the tour may begin immediately rather than waiting at the ship until 12pm.

Guests will check out after breakfast. Travel Joy Egypt representatives will then accompany guests to Aswan station/airport for their return flight to Cairo, marking the end of cruise services.Optional Tour:Tour Abu Simbel by private vehicle or domestic flight from Aswan. Upon arrival in Abu Simbel, an Egyptologist guide will escort the group to visit the two grandiose temples of Ramesses II - the massive Great Temple honoring Ra-Horakhty and the smaller one dedicated to Ramesses and Queen Nefertari. Following the completion of touring, return travel begins back towards Aswan for drop off at the selected hotel there or transfer to the airport.Meals Included: Breakfast
