Upon arriving at Cairo International Airport, a representative from Travel Joy Egypt will greet you and assist with any formalities. Private transportation will be provided to your hotel in Cairo for check-in and rest. Overnight in Cairo.
After breakfast, an Egyptologist guide will take you to view the impressive Pyramids of Giza including those built for Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure. The Sphinx will also be seen guarding this area. A local restaurant will be visited for lunch. Next is the Egyptian Museum containing over 250,000 artifacts spanning 5,000 years of history, including Tutankhamun's treasured tomb contents. Return to the Cairo hotel for overnight.
Following breakfast and hotel check-out, a representative will transfer you to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan. An Egyptologist guide will then take you to see the High Dam, Temple of Philae on Agilika Island, and the unfinished Obelisk. Transfer to a Nile cruise ship in Aswan for check-in and dinner.
After breakfast on the cruise, a guided visit will be made to the dual god temple of Kom Ombo. Lunch will be on the sun deck watching the Nile scenery. Next is the well-preserved Temple of Horus in Edfu, then back to the cruise ship for evening activities and dinner.
Following breakfast, tour the Valley of the Kings royal cemetery and Queen Hatshepsut's temple. See the Colossi of Memnon before lunch on the cruise. Afternoon exploration includes the immense Karnak Temple Complex and Temple of Luxor, then dinner and overnight on the cruise.
