Day 1: Friday Travel Joy Egypt welcomes you upon your arrival at Aswan airport/train station. Your tour manager and Egyptologist guide will accompany you for sightseeing in Aswan. You will visit Philae Temple and the High Dam, savouring a walk around Aswan Bazaar. Afterwards, you will be escorted to board your Abundance Dahabiya sailing boat. Enjoy lunch aboard during your picturesque cruise towards Kom Ombo. Upon arrival, spend the night in Kom Ombo. Meals included: Lunch Dinner
Breakfast at your leisure, followed by a guided visit to the Greco-Roman Temple of Kom Ombo. The symmetrically designed temple had shrines to the falcon god Haroeris and the crocodile deity Sobek. Next, the cruise continues towards Gebel el-Silsila Temple, one of our lesser visited sites. You will be mesmerized when the boat docks beside the Speos of Hormheb. Start your day with breakfast, then journey by horse carriage to Edfu Temple, one of Egypt's finest preserved monuments. Two statues of Horus flank the grand entrance. Afterwards, browse or ride through the market, where you can negotiate for gifts, spices and perfumes. The boat will sail to an isle where a Nile-side dinner will be served, depending on weather conditions. Otherwise, dine on the sun deck. Get into the spirit with an EGYPTIAN EVENING OF FUN - tasty cuisine, Arabic music and traditional Gallabeyahs or belly dancing costumes. The mellow cruise continues as evening falls. Also visit Hatshepsut Temple and the Colossi of Memnon. The tour culminates at the colossal Karnak Temple complex. A representative from Travel Joy Egypt will then transfer you to Luxor airport or train station, bringing your 4-day Nile cruise tour to a close. Meals included: Breakfast
Day 1: Monday Upon arriving in Luxor via airport or train, a representative from Travel Joy Egypt will greet and assist you. You will join an Egyptologist guide for sightseeing around Luxor, taking in the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, Colossi of Memnon and the colossal Karnak Temple complex.
