9 Days Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, Hurghada & Nile Cruise

Day 1 in Cairo
The tour begins with arrival at Cairo International Airport where a representative greets visitors and transfers them to their 5-star hotel in Cairo. After settling in, guests enjoy their first included breakfast at the hotel.

Exploring Giza and the Egyptian Museum
In the first day, guests are taken on an exploration of the famous Giza Pyramids Complex including the Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure guarded by the great Sphinx. After admiring the architectural marvels, lunch is enjoyed at a local restaurant. Next, one of Egypt’s treasures, the Egyptian Museum is visited housing artifacts from over 5000 years of Pharaonic history including Tutankhamun’s treasures. Guests return to their Cairo hotel in the evening.

Journey to Aswan
On day 2, after breakfast guests check out of their Cairo hotel and take an included domestic flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, the tour guide leads exploration of Aswan including the impressive Aswan High Dam. A boat ride takes guests to view the Philae Temple on Agilika Island dedicated to Goddess Isis. Other highlights include the Unfinished Obelisk showing ancient construction. Guests check-in to their luxurious 5-star cruise for a 3-night stay.

Temples of Kom Ombo and Horus
The third day starts with a visit to the unique double temple of Kom Ombo dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and falcon god Haroeris. A delicious lunch is served onboard as the Nile landscape floats by. In the afternoon, guests ride chariots to the well-preserved Temple of Horus at Edfu before relaxing back on the cruise. An evening folkloric show and dinner entertain guests.

Exploring the West Bank of Luxor
After breakfast on day 4, a magical tour of the Theban necropolis on the Nile’s west bank includes the renowned Valley of the Kings tombs and Queen Hatshepsut’s unique cliffside temple. Colossi of Memnon statues are also seen. The cruise hotel offers luxury along with Nile views for the remainder of the day.

Discovering Karnak and Luxor Temples
Following breakfast, guests disembark the ship and explore the vast Karnak Temple complex housing many structures within its 100-acre space. Nearby stands the well-preserved Luxor Temple. After the illuminating tour, a private vehicle transfers guests to Hurghada on the Red Sea coast for two nights at a 5-star beachfront property.

Underwater Adventures in Hurghada
Arriving in Hurghada mid-afternoon on day 6 allows time to relax at the beach hotel or partake in included meals. Optional tours offer diving, snorkeling or other watersports among coral reefs inhabited by rare fish. The town caters well to tourism with its Mediterranean climate all year round.

Desert Safari Experience
On the 7th day, an optional desert safari excursion by jeep takes guests 35km into the desert surrounding Hurghada. An authentic Bedouin village visit including camel riding, quad biking and barbecue dinner amid the scenic desert sunset provides lasting memories. More leisure time is spent winding down in Hurghada.

Fly back to Cairo
After breakfast on the last full day, guests transfer to Hurghada airport for the return flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, a representative drives visitors back to their original Cairo hotel where luggage can be stored until departure time. The evening is left open for final exploration.
