Day 1: Welcome to Cairo!

You will then be escorted to meet your Egyptologist tour guide, who will accompany you on your first site visit - the iconic Giza Pyramids complex. Then, a Travel Joy Egypt representative will escort you to Cairo International Airport to assist with flight formalities and ensure you board your plane on time. Upon arrival at Luxor Airport, you will be greeted by another representative who will assist with any arrival procedures. From there, your private guided tour of Luxor's West Bank sites will commence, including the sobering Valley of the Kings royal burial site. Admire Queen Hatshepsut's skillful Deir el Bahari Temple architecture carved into the mountainside. Also see the photogenic Colossi of Memnon statues on this educational tour.
