MS Miriam Nile Cruise Itinerary
Program 1: Every Monday (4 Days / 3 Nights)
Day 1: Aswan City Tour - Aswan ON Upon arrival in Aswan, a representative from Travel Joy Egypt will greet you and transfer you via private air-conditioned van to the luxurious 5-star MS Miriam Nile Cruise for check-in before 12pm. You'll enjoy lunch onboard then visit the High Dam constructed by Gamal Abdel Nasser in 1960 to protect from Nile flooding. Next, a motorboat will sail to Philae Temple built in the Graeco-Roman era and dedicated to Goddess Isis. The visit concludes at the Unfinished Obelisk, a red granite monument for Amun Ra. After the tour, return to the ship for free time in Aswan. Dinner is included. If arrival time is early, the tour starts on arrival to avoid waiting at the lounge before check-in at 12pm. Meals Included: Lunch Dinner
Día 2: Kom Ombo - Edfu & ON
Guests will enjoy breakfast onboard before joining their Egyptologist guide to visit the Temple of Kom Ombo where the gods Sobek and Haroeris were worshipped. After returning to the ship, guests can enjoy lunch on the sun deck overlooking the Nile's landscape. In the afternoon, a trip by chariot will take guests to the well-preserved Temple of Horus in Edfu. Upon completion of the tour, guests will be transferred back to the ship. Dinner will be served onboard in the evening followed by an Egyptian folkloric show presented by the staff. Meals Included: Breakfast Lunch Dinner
Día 3: Luxor Cisjordania - Luxor ON
Guests will start their day with breakfast onboard the Nile cruise. The tour of Thebes' sacred lands on the west bank of Luxor will begin with a visit to the Valley of the Kings, the royal cemetery where Pharaohs were buried. Next will be the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, one of the finest examples of architecture carved within the mountain. The touring culminates at the Colossi of Memnon statues belonging to King Amenhotep III. Upon returning to the ship, guests may enjoy lunch with free time in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight accommodation is provided onboard the cruise. Meals Included: Breakfast Lunch Dinner
Día 4: Check Out - Luxor East Bank
Guests will check out of the cruise after breakfast at 8am. They will then embark on a tour of Luxor's East Bank, starting with the massive Karnak Temples Complex, considered the largest structure ever built. Next is the Temple of Luxor, constructed by a 12th dynasty king and later added to by Ramesses II. Upon completing the day's sightseeing, guests will be transferred via private air-conditioned van to their selected location in Luxor, marking the end of services provided by Travel Joy Egypt. Meals Included: Breakfast
Program 2: Every Thursday (5 Days / 4 Nights)
Day 1: Luxor East Bank - Luxor ON Upon arrival in Luxor, a Travel Joy Egypt representative will collect you from the airport or station by private air-conditioned van and transfer you to the Nile Cruise for check-in before 12pm. In the afternoon, you will discover Luxor's East Bank including the magnificent Karnak Temples Complex - the largest religious buildings in history dedicated to Amun Ra. Construction began in the Middle Kingdom with some structures dated to the 3rd Dynasty. Next is the Temple of Luxor built by a 12th Dynasty king and finished by Ramesses II, located in ancient Thebes like Karnak. After the tour concludes, guests will return to the ship for rest. Tonight features an Egyptian folkloric show performed by staff, followed by dinner onboard. If arrival time is early, the tour begins immediately to make the most of the day without waiting at the lounge. Meals Included: Lunch Dinner
Día 2: Luxor Cisjordania - Navegación a Edfu y ON
Guests will start their day with breakfast onboard the Nile cruise. Their tour of Thebes on the west bank of Luxor will begin with a visit to the Valley of the Kings, the burial site of Theban kings and pharaohs. Next will be the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir Al Bahari, one of ancient Egypt's finest architectural structures carved into the mountainside. The tour culminates with the Colossi of Memnon memorial to King Amenhotep III. Upon returning to the ship, guests can enjoy lunch. The afternoon is free at leisure. Dinner and overnight accommodation is provided onboard for the cruise itinerary. Meals Included: Breakfast Lunch Dinner
Día 3: Edfu - Kom Ombo - Navegación a Asuán & ON
Guests will start their day with breakfast onboard the Nile cruise. They will then embark on a tour led by their guide to mysterious Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of Egypt's best preserved temples. After exploring, Guests return to the ship where lunch is served during transit to Kom Ombo. In the afternoon, Guests proceed to Temple of Kom Ombo where Gods Sobek and Haroeris were once worshipped. Back on the cruise, they may relax on the sun deck taking in views of landscapes that cradled ancient Egyptian civilization. Dinner is provided as the ship sails to Aswan, arriving in the late evening. Guests spend the night onboard as the cruise docks for the overnight stay. Meals Included: Breakfast Lunch Dinner

Guests will start their day with breakfast onboard the cruise ship. Later, they will join their Egyptologist guide to explore Aswan city, first visiting the High Dam originally constructed under President Gamal Abdel Nasser in 1960 to control Nile flooding. After this, guests will enjoy a scenic River Nile boat ride to Agilika Island where they can view the Philae Temple from the Greco-Roman era dedicated to Goddess Isis, mother of Horus. The tour's last stop is an architectural wonder - the Unfinished Obelisk, a colossal red granite monument intended for the God Amun Ra. Upon returning to the ship, lunch is served. Afternoon tea is provided onboard before the night is left open for leisure activities. Dinner and overnight stay are included onboard while docked in Aswan. Meals Included: Breakfast Lunch Dinner
Día 5: Desembarque del crucero - Salida hacia El Cairo
After breakfast, guests will check out from the cruise. A company representative will then accompany them to Aswan airport or station for their flight to Cairo, concluding services. Optional Tour: Guests have the option to join a guided excursion to Abu Simbel by private coach or domestic flight from Aswan. Upon arrival, guests will visit the two impressive temples of Abu Simbel constructed during the reign of Ramesses II - the massive Great Temple dedicated to Ra-Horakhty and the smaller one honoring the king and his beloved wife Nefertari. After the full-day tour concludes, guests will be driven back to Aswan. The representative will either transfer guests to their selected hotel to check-in for rest or directly to Aswan airport for their connecting flight to Cairo. Meals Included: Breakfast
