A Travel Joy Egypt representative will greet you holding a sign with your name upon disembarking your cruise ship in Port Said. You will then board our private, air-conditioned vehicle for the approximately 3 hour drive to Cairo alongside a police escort
Day 1: Port Said - Pyramids of Giza
After checking into your 5-star hotel, you will embark on sightseeing starting with visits to the Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure at Giza. Also explore the legendary Great Sphinx and nearby Valley Temple. Later, drive to Sakkara to view King Djoser's Step Pyramid, Egypt's earliest major stone structure. Dinner will be served at a local Cairo eatery.
Day 2: Museum - Citadel - Port Said
Following breakfast, set out with your guide for the Egyptian Museum to see artifacts from ancient dynasties including King Tutankhamun's treasures. Then visit the walled Citadel of Saladin overlooking the city before perhaps browsing classic shops at Khan El Khalili bazaar.
