Abu Simbel / Asuán Todos los viernes (4 días)
Day 1: Embarkation - Visit Abu Simbel Upon arrival in Abu Simbel, a representative from Travel Joy Egypt will collect you from your hotel or the airport and transfer you to the luxurious 5-star Steigenberger Omar El Khayam Lake Cruise for check-in at 1 PM. Lunch will be served onboard. Next, you will tour the impressive Abu Simbel Temple complex, located on the west bank of the Nile between the first and second cataracts. Built in the 13th century BC under Pharaoh Rameses II, the structures were carved out of stone and later moved in 1968 when the Aswan High Dam was constructed. After the fascinating tour, spend the afternoon relaxing onboard over tea before dinner. In the evening, an unforgettable Sound and Light show at Abu Simbel Temple will transport you back in time, using music and multimedia projections to vividly depict how the site appeared in ancient days. Spend the night onboard as the cruise continues. Meals included: Lunch Dinner Optional attendance at the enlightening Sound and Light show.

On the first morning, breakfast will be provided onboard as the cruise sets sail towards Kasr Ibrim. Visitors can take in views of Kasr Ibrim Citadel from the sundeck, once a formidable city along the Nile now appearing as an island. Lunch is served before disembarking with a guide to explore important temples. The Temple of Amada will be the first stop, erected under Thutmose III then expanded by his successors. Next, the Temple of Derr displays Rameses II's skilled rock cut design, one of Egypt's most powerful pharaohs. Finally, the rare rock cut tomb of Viceroy Pennut is seen, also relocated like nearby structures due to the Aswan Dam. Returning to the cruise, guests can unwind at a cocktail reception ahead of a captivating Nubian show, followed by dinner and overnight accommodations. Meals included: Breakfast Lunch Dinner

The following morning, breakfast is available onboard as guests embark on a visit to the remarkable Wadi El Seboua archaeological site. Home to relocated monuments, it offers insight into the "New Kingdom" period plus Temples of Dakka and Maharraqua. Many start the exploration along the "Valley of Lions", a sphinx-lined path leading to the Temple of Amenhotep III honouring the Nubian god Horus. Built during his reign, the rock cut structure retains its brick pylon, courtyards and painted halls. After lunch on the cruise, there is a sail towards Aswan where dinner and overnight accommodation are provided, ending the educational day of historical discoveries. On the final morning, breakfast will be provided onboard before travelling with an Egyptologist guide. The first highlight is Temple of Kalabsha, situated near the High Dam and often the initial stop on Lake Nasser voyages. Originally located farther south, it was relocated here after dam construction. Built under the Ptolemies yet finished during Augustus' reign, the temple blends Egyptian, Roman and Nubian artistic styles depicting various rulers paying homage to Mandulis. Afterwards, guests will disembark and check out, then a Travel Joy Egypt representative will transfer everyone back to their selected hotel in Aswan, concluding the enlightening Lake Nasser cruise itinerary. Asuán / Abu Simbel Todos los lunes (5 días)
Day 1: Arrival at Aswan - Aswan Visits & Embark on the Cruise Upon arrival in Aswan, a representative from Travel Joy Egypt will receive you and transfer you to your Nile cruise for check-in and embarkation. You will enjoy lunch aboard the cruise. An Egyptologist guide will then accompany you to discover Aswan's renowned sites, including the High Dam built by President Nasser in 1960 to regulate the Nile river. Next, a short motorboat ride will take you to Agilika Island to explore the Temple of Philae, a Greco-Roman structure dedicated to goddess Isis. You will also visit the quarry holding an immense unfinished obelisk crafted from red granite under Pharaoh Hatshepsut's reign. Dinner will be served aboard the cruise as you relax and overnight in Aswan. Meals Included: Lunch Dinner
Día 2: Templo de Kalabsha - Navegación a Wadi El Seboua
Breakfast will be served aboard your Nile cruise. Today, your Egyptologist guide will first explore the Temple of Kalabsha located near the High Dam. Originally situated farther south, the temple was relocated here after the dam’s construction. Built under Ptolemaic and Roman rule, it features a fusion of Egyptian and Roman motifs depicting various emperors and deities. Dedicated to Mandulis, the Nubian god, it provides insight into regional cultures. Next, a visit to Beit El Wali is arranged. Salved from Lake Nasser, the rescued temple was constructed symmetrically around a central sanctuary with columns. Mostly hewn from the rock face, it was accessed through the façade’s central entrance. After refreshing onboard, lunch will be enjoyed as the cruise continues north through the Tropic of Cancer en route to Wadi El Sebou. Dinner and overnight accommodations remain available on the comfortable vessel. Meals Included: Breakfast Lunch Dinner
Día 3: Visita de Wadi El Seboua y Dakka
You will start your day with breakfast aboard the cruise. Next, a visit is arranged to Wadi El Sebou, or "Valley of the Lions". Named after the avenue of sphinxes leading to its temple built for Ramesses II, the site lay forgotten until its relocation in the 1960s due to rising waters. After exploring the area, lunch will be enjoyed back onboard as the boat sails north. This afternoon's exploration is the Temple of Amada. Considered the oldest monument along Lake Nasser, the temple dates to the 18th Dynasty before both Ramesses II and Abu Simbel. However, as was customary, marks were later added within by both Ramesses and his son Merenptah. After learning about its antiquity, you will return to the cruise for dinner and continued accommodations for the night. Meals Included: Breakfast Lunch Dinner

You will enjoy an early morning sail past Kasr Ibrim to view its citadel perched high above the former Nile shoreline. Once a formidable riverside city, it now appears as an island due to the Aswan Dam construction. This afternoon, a visit is arranged to Abu Simbel's iconic temples. Built by Ramesses II between two cataracts, the elaborate structures were repositioned higher in the 1960s when their original site flooded. After exploring the interiors adorned with towering statues, you have the option to attend the illuminating sound and light show this evening. Conveying visitors through melodies back to pharaonic times, its projections bring the temples' former appearance to life. The show enhances the memorable experience of witnessing Abu Simbel's engineering marvel firsthand. Meals Included: Breakfast Lunch Dinner Optional: Sound and Light Show at Abu Simbel
Day 5: Disembarkation from Cruise
You will enjoy a final breakfast aboard the cruise before disembarking and checking out. A Travel Joy Egypt representative will then transfer you to the airport for your return flight to Cairo, marking the end of your Lake Nasser cruise and journey through Aswan. Meals Included: Breakfast
