Cross to the West Bank for the Valley of the Kings, descending into three painted royal tombs, with optional entry to Tutankhamun or Seti I. After breakfast, a horse-drawn carriage carries you to the Ptolemaic Temple of Horus at Edfu, the best-preserved temple of antiquity, its pylon and reliefs recounting the battle of Horus and Seth.
