MS Esplanade Nile Cruise Itinerary
Programa 1: Todos los miércoles (4 días / 3 noches)
Day 1: Aswan City Tour - Aswan ON Upon arrival in Aswan, a representative from Travel Joy Egypt will greet you and transfer you by private air-conditioned van to your Nile cruise ship. Board the ship before 12pm. After lunch onboard, you will visit the High Dam built in 1960 to control flooding of the Nile. Then a motor boat will take you to Philae Temple on an island, built in the Graeco-Roman period and dedicated to Isis. Next, you will be taken to the Unfinished Obelisk made of red granite for the god Amun Ra. After the tour, return to the ship. In the evening, you can relax onboard. Dinner will be served. Meals included: Lunch Dinner Note: The tour may start earlier upon arrival if before 12pm check-in for efficient use of time.
Día 2: Kom Ombo - Edfu & ON
Breakfast will be served onboard the ship. Afterwards, an Egyptologist guide will take you to visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris. Return to the ship for lunch on the sun deck with views of the Nile landscape. Enjoy chariot riding to the renowned Temple of Horus in Edfu, well preserved from ancient times. Upon completion, transfer back to the ship. In the afternoon relax onboard. Dinner will be served with an evening show of Egyptian folklore performed by staff. Meals included: Breakfast Lunch Dinner
Día 3: Luxor Cisjordania - Luxor ON
Breakfast will be served onboard the Nile cruise. Then begin a magical guided tour of Thebes exploring the Valley of the Kings, burial site of Theban kings and pharaohs. Next visit Hatshepsut's Temple at Deir El Bahari, carved impressively inside a mountain. View the Colossi of Memnon statues of King Amenhotep III. Return to the ship for lunch. The afternoon is free time. Dinner and overnight onboard. Meals included: Breakfast Lunch Dinner
Día 4: Check Out - Luxor East Bank
Checkout will be after 08:00 breakfast. Then explore the expansive Karnak Temple Complex, considered the world's largest at over 100 acres in size. Visit Luxor Temple constructed by a 12th Dynasty king and later finished by Ramesses II. Upon completion of the day tour, private air-conditioned transportation will transfer you to your Luxor accommodation where Travel Joy Egypt services conclude. Meals included: Breakfast

Day 1: Luxor East Bank - Luxor ON Upon arrival in Luxor, a Travel Joy Egypt representative will transfer you via private air-conditioned van to embark on your Nile cruise before 12pm. In the afternoon, discover the expansive Karnak Temple Complex, considered the largest construction in history dedicated to God Amun Ra, with the earliest structures dating to the Middle Kingdom. Nearby visit Luxor Temple constructed during the 12th Dynasty and completed by Ramses II. Following the tour, transfer back to the ship to rest. In the evening enjoy an Egyptian folklore show performed by staff, before dinner and an overnight stay in Luxor. Meals included: Lunch Dinner Note: For efficient time management, the tour may commence upon early arrival before the 12pm cruise check-in time.
Día 2: Luxor Cisjordania - Navegación a Edfu y ON
Breakfast will be served onboard the cruise. Then commence a guided tour of West Luxor including the Valley of the Kings royal burial site. Next visit Hatshepsut's Temple at Deir El Bahari, carved impressively inside the mountain. View the Colossi of Memnon statues. Return to the ship for lunch. The afternoon is free time. Dinner will be served onboard in the evening with an overnight stay on the cruise. Meals included: Breakfast Lunch Dinner
Día 3: Edfu - Kom Ombo - Navegación a Asuán & ON
Breakfast will be served onboard the Nile cruise. Then the tour guide take you on a mysterious journey visiting Edfu Temple, one of Egypt's best preserved temples. Return to the ship where lunch is served sailing to Kom Ombo Temple dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris. Enjoy views from the sun deck during the sail. Dinner is served en route to Aswan, arriving in the late evening for overnight stay. Meals included: Breakfast Lunch Dinner
Día 4: Visita de la ciudad de Asuán - Asuán ON
Breakfast will be served onboard the ship. Then join an Egyptologist guide touring Aswan city including the High Dam built to control Nile flooding. Sail by motorboat to Philae Temple on Agilkia Island dedicated to Isis. View the unfinished Obelisk at the granite quarries dedicated to Amun Ra. After the tour, return to the ship for lunch. Afternoon tea is served onboard. Dinner and overnight stay in Aswan with the evening at leisure. Meals included: Breakfast Lunch Dinner
Día 5: Desembarque del crucero - Salida hacia El Cairo
Checkout will occur after breakfast. A Travel Joy Egypt representative will then accompany you to Aswan airport or station for your flight to Cairo. Optional Abu Simbel tour: An English-speaking guide will transfer you by private A/C van to Abu Simbel, located in Nubia south of Aswan. Visit the impressive Great and Small Temples built by Ramesses II and dedicated to gods and the king/queen. After touring, return transport to your Aswan hotel for check-in or transfer to the airport for a domestic flight to Cairo. Meals included: Breakfast
