Day 1: Aswan City Tour - Aswan ONUpon arrival to Aswan, a Travel Joy Egypt representative will meet and transfer guests via private vehicle to their cruise ship. Check-in is before 12pm. Lunch will be served onboard. Next, a tour of the High Dam built by President Nasser in 1960 to control Nile flooding will occur. A motorboat will then sail to Philae Temple, built in the Greco-Roman era for Isis. The tour ends with a visit to the Unfinished Obelisk. Guests later return to their ship with an evening at leisure. Dinner is included. If arrival in Aswan is early, the tour may begin upon arrival to avoid wait times as check-in is at 12pm.Meals included: Lunch Dinner
Breakfast will be provided onboard the cruise ship. Then guests will tour Kom Ombo Temple where the gods Sobek and Haroeris were worshipped, led by an Egyptologist guide. Returning to the ship, lunch will be enjoyed from the sun deck overlooking the Nile landscape. Afternoon activities include chariot riding to Edfu Temple, considered one of Egypt's best preserved. Guests are then transferred back to the ship. The afternoon is free for relaxation onboard. Breakfast will be provided onboard the Nile cruise. A magical tour of Thebes' western bank in Luxor will follow, including the Valley of the Kings royal cemetery and burial site of Pharaohs. Next will be a visit to Hatshepsut Temple at Deir El Bahari, known for its architecture carved within a mountain. The tour concludes at the Colossi of Memnon statues of King Amenhotep III. Guests return to the ship for lunch. The afternoon is free at leisure. Dinner and overnight accommodation is provided on the cruise.Meals included: Breakfast Lunch Dinner
Guests will check out after breakfast at 8am. Then a tour of Luxor's East Bank will be enjoyed, including the impressive Karnak Temple Complex considered the world's largest at 100 acres. The tour concludes at Luxor Temple constructed by a 12th Dynasty king and finished by Ramesses II. Day 1: Luxor East Bank - Luxor ONUpon arrival at Luxor station or airport, a Travel Joy Egypt guide will transfer guests privately to their Nile cruise ship, with check-in before 12pm. That afternoon, a tour of Luxor's East Bank will include the extensive Karnak Temples, the world's largest religious structures dating back to the 3rd Dynasty. The principal building honors Amun Ra. Next is Luxor Temple, constructed by a 12th Dynasty king for Amun Ra in the heart of ancient Thebes. Following the daily tour, guests return to their ship to relax. An Egyptian folkloric show by staff and dinner are provided that evening, with overnight in Luxor. If arrival time allows, the tour may begin immediately to optimize time before check-in at 12pm.Meals included: Lunch Dinner

Breakfast will be served onboard as guests begin their Aswan exploration including the High Dam built by President Nasser for flood protection. A motorboat will then sail to Philae Temple on Agilika Island dedicated to Isis. The final visit is to the unfinished Obelisk at the granite quarries of ancient Egypt. Following the tour, lunch and afternoon tea are provided back on the cruise ship. After breakfast, a Travel Joy Egypt representative will accompany guests to the Aswan airport or station for their flight to Cairo, concluding services.(Breakfast)Optional Tour:An Abu Simbel excursion is available either by private coach or domestic flight. An English-speaking guide will pick guests up in Aswan by private vehicle and transfer them to the temples site located south along the Nile. The tour includes visits to the two temples of Abu Simbel built by Ramses II, with the Great Temple dedicated to Ra-Horakhty and the smaller one honoring the king and his wife Nefertari. Afterwards, guests are transferred back to Aswan for check-in at their chosen hotel or the airport to catch a flight back to Cairo.Meals included: Breakfast
