Karnak TempleDay 1: East Bank Grandeur
Upon your arrival at Luxor Airport, your expert Egyptologist will extend a warm welcome and escort you to begin your journey. The morning unfolds on Luxor's East Bank, where you'll delve into the staggering scale of Karnak Temple. This sprawling outdoor museum, built and modified over two millennia, is a testament to the power and devotion of countless pharaohs. Visualize ancient rituals amidst its towering pylons and hypostyle hall. After a delicious local lunch, we'll check into your luxurious 5-star hotel. As evening descends, experience the enchanting Luxor Temple, particularly magical under floodlights. Designed for Opet Festival celebrations, its elegant courts and colossal statues captivate every visitor.
- Karnak Temple — The largest religious site ever built, this immense complex of temples, chapels, and other buildings was the primary place of worship for the Theban Triad (Amun, Mut, and Khonsu) and a powerful symbol of New Kingdom Egypt.
- Luxor Temple — An unusually graceful temple, begun by Amenhotep III and greatly expanded by Ramesses II, dedicated to the rejuvenation of kingship. Its stunning architecture and historical reliefs offer a profound insight into ancient ceremonies.

Valley of the KingsDay 2: Royal Tombs and Hatshepsut's Legacy
Savor breakfast at your hotel before venturing to the legendary West Bank. Our first stop is the iconic Valley of the Kings, the burial ground for pharaohs of the New Kingdom. Here, you'll descend into magnificent tombs adorned with vibrant carvings and hieroglyphs, each telling a story of the afterlife. Next, visit the strikingly modern mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a female pharaoh who ruled as a king. Its multi-tiered terraces, carved into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari, stand as a tribute to her remarkable reign. After a delightful lunch enjoyed on a Nile island, completing your immersion in this sacred landscape, we’ll move towards the formidable Colossi of Memnon.
- Valley of the Kings — The ultimate necropolis, containing the rock-cut tombs of pharaohs from the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties. Explore a selection of these incredibly decorated burial chambers, preserving ancient beliefs about the journey to the afterlife.
- Temple of Hatshepsut — A breathtaking example of ancient Egyptian architecture, this unique terraced temple was built for one of Egypt's most successful female pharaohs, Queen Hatshepsut, commemorating her achievements and divine birth.
- Colossi of Memnon — Two massive stone statues of Amenhotep III, guarding the entrance to what was once his enormous mortuary temple. These towering figures have stood for over 3,400 years, silently witnessing the passage of time.
Day 3: Queens, Artisans, and Ramses III's Power
Following breakfast, we continue our West Bank exploration. Our first destination today is the Valley of the Queens, where many wives of pharaohs, royal children, and nobles were laid to rest. Here, you have the opportunity to visit several exquisitely decorated tombs, including, if open, the renowned tomb of Queen Nefertari, known for its unparalleled artistry. Afterward, we journey to Medinet Habu, the impressive mortuary temple of Ramesses III, one of the best-preserved temples on the West Bank, showcasing incredible reliefs depicting his military campaigns. We'll then pause for a final Luxor lunch before visiting Deir el-Medina, the ancient village of the artisans who crafted the royal tombs. Explore their homes and smaller, equally fascinating tombs, offering a rare glimpse into the daily lives of ancient craftsmen. Finally, your guide will transfer you to Luxor Airport for your departure, concluding your unforgettable journey through ancient Thebes.
- Valley of the Queens — Another significant burial ground on the West Bank, home to the tombs of royal wives, children, and nobles. Discover the artistry and stories within these rarely visited but richly decorated eternal resting places.
- Medinet Habu — The colossal mortuary temple of Ramesses III, a magnificent example of New Kingdom architecture. Its incredibly preserved reliefs recount historical events, including naval battles and the defeat of the Sea Peoples.
- Deir el-Medina — Known as the 'Village of the Artisans,' this fascinating site provides a unique window into the lives of the workers who built the royal tombs. Their own, smaller tombs are also incredibly detailed and often more personal.
