Day 1: Journey to Aswan & Riverside Discoveries
Your adventure begins with a seamless transfer from your Luxor hotel to the train station for a first-class rail journey south to Aswan. Upon arrival, your dedicated Egyptologist guide will greet you, ready to unveil Aswan's most iconic sites. Our first stop is 'The High Dam', a monumental achievement of modern engineering that reshaped Egypt's future. Next, we journey to the ancient granite quarries to marvel at 'The Unfinished Obelisk', offering a fascinating window into the ambitious, yet sometimes thwarted, construction techniques of the pharaohs. Rise early today for a truly special experience: a private journey to the awe-inspiring 'Temples of Abu Simbel'. Your Egyptologist will accompany you as you travel by comfortable air-conditioned vehicle to this remote and spectacular site. Here, you'll stand before the colossal rock-cut sanctuaries of Ramesses II and his great queen Nefertari, an architectural wonder famously relocated to save it from the rising waters of Lake Nasser.
