Valley of the KingsDay 1: From Soma Bay to Luxor's West Bank Treasures & Karnak
Your private Egyptologist guide and air-conditioned vehicle will collect you bright and early from your Soma Bay hotel, starting your immersive journey towards Luxor. We'll begin our explorations on the Nile's West Bank, the ancient 'City of the Dead.' Here, delve into the legendary Valley of the Kings, the secluded burial ground of New Kingdom pharaohs, where intricate hieroglyphs and vibrant paintings adorn the tombs (entry to three tombs included). Next, admire the distinctive architecture of the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt’s most successful female pharaoh, carved into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari. Before crossing back to the East Bank, pause at the colossal Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues of Amenhotep III standing stoic in the agricultural fields. Enjoy a delightful lunch at a local restaurant offering scenic views. In the afternoon, prepare to be awestruck by the sheer scale of the Karnak Temple Complex, the largest ancient religious site in the world. Wander through its vast courtyards, towering hypostyle halls, and sacred lakes, dedicated primarily to the god Amun-Ra. After a day rich in discovery, we'll continue our journey south to Aswan, where you'll check into your comfortable five-star hotel for the evening.
- Valley of the Kings — Explore the majestic burial grounds of New Kingdom pharaohs, descending into intricately decorated tombs (three tombs included).
- Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut — Visit this unique terraced temple dedicated to Egypt's powerful female pharaoh, carved dramatically into the cliffs.
- Colossi of Memnon — Photograph the two immense stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, silent guardians of the ancient necropolis.
- Karnak Temple Complex — Immerse yourself in the world's largest ancient religious site, walking through its monumental halls and sanctuaries.

Abu Simbel TemplesDay 2: Abu Simbel's Grand Temples and Return to Soma Bay
With a packed breakfast provided by your hotel, we’ll make an early morning departure for a truly spectacular experience: the temples of Abu Simbel. Your private guide will lead you through these architectural marvels, carved directly from the mountainside during the reign of Ramesses II. Marvel at the Great Temple, dedicated to Ramesses himself and the gods Ra-Horakhty, Amun, and Ptah, characterized by its four colossal seated statues of the pharaoh. Adjacent, discover the smaller yet equally stunning Temple of Hathor and Nefertari, devoted to his beloved Great Royal Wife and the goddess Hathor. Learn about their astonishing relocation to save them from the rising waters of Lake Nasser. After soaking in the grandeur of Abu Simbel, we will begin our comfortable drive back, concluding your unforgettable two-day expedition as we return you to your hotel in Soma Bay.
