Valley of the KingsDay 1: Journey to Luxor & West Bank Wonders
Your adventure begins with a comfortable, air-conditioned transfer from your El Gouna hotel to Luxor. Upon arrival, meet your private Egyptologist guide who will unveil the grandeur of Luxor's West Bank. Prepare to step back in time as we explore the legendary Valley of the Kings, where over 60 royal tombs lie hidden beneath the desert, including those of Tutankhamun and Ramses the Great. Afterward, we'll visit the stunning Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a terraced masterpiece carved into the cliffs, celebrating her extraordinary reign. Our final stop on the West Bank will be the colossal statues of Memnon, silent sentinels guarding the remnants of Amenhotep III's once-magnificent temple. A delicious lunch awaits at a charming restaurant overlooking the Nile. In the afternoon, we'll immerse ourselves in the epic scale of the Karnak Temple Complex, a sprawling sacred city that tells the story of centuries of pharaohs and their devotion to the Theban gods. Later, we'll escort you to Luxor's train station for a comfortable first-class rail journey south to Aswan, where you'll check into your hotel for the evening.
- Valley of the Kings — Delve deep into the elaborate burial chambers of New Kingdom pharaohs, their walls adorned with vibrant hieroglyphs and tales of the afterlife.
- Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut — Behold the architectural marvel of Egypt's female pharaoh, a unique multi-terraced temple dedicated to Amun-Ra.
- Colossi of Memnon — Witness these two colossal stone statues, all that remains of Amenhotep III's grand funerary temple, standing majestically against time.
- Karnak Temple Complex — Wander through the monumental pylons, hypostyle halls, and sacred lakes of the world's second-largest ancient religious site, a UNESCO World Heritage treasure.

Day 2: Aswan's Engineering & Island Sanctuary - Return to El Gouna
After breakfast, prepare for a captivating tour of Aswan's key sites, once again accompanied by your private guide. We'll begin at the Aswan High Dam, a marvel of 20th-century engineering that transformed Egypt's landscape and economy. Next, we journey to the ancient granite quarry to observe the Unfinished Obelisk, a colossal monument that offers incredible insight into the masterful stone-cutting techniques of the ancient Egyptians. Our final historical stop is the exquisite Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Relocated to Agilkia Island to save it from the rising waters of Lake Nasser, it's a beautifully preserved Ptolemaic-era sanctuary with captivating legends. Following our Aswan exploration, we'll enjoy a final lunch together before you board the train for your return to Qena. From Qena station, a private air-conditioned vehicle will be waiting to transport you back to your hotel in El Gouna, concluding your remarkable two-day journey through Upper Egypt's ancient heart.
- Aswan High Dam — Discover this modern engineering marvel, crucial for Egypt's agriculture and power, and appreciate its immense scale.
- Unfinished Obelisk — Explore the ancient granite quarry where this colossal, still-attached obelisk provides a unique window into ancient Egyptian stonemasonry techniques.
- Philae Temple — Journey by boat to Agilkia Island to visit the enchanting Philae Temple, a Ptolemaic gem dedicated to Isis, beautifully preserved and dramatically re-situated.
