Your adventure begins with a comfortable, air-conditioned transfer from your Makadi Bay hotel to Luxor, the monumental ancient city of Thebes. Upon arrival, you'll meet your private Egyptologist guide who will unveil the day's wonders. We first venture into the legendary Valley of the Kings, the underground necropolis holding the royal tombs of numerous New Kingdom pharaohs, including Tutankhamun and Ramesses II. Next, we journey to the exquisite Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, a stunning terraced structure carved directly into the cliffs, commemorating Egypt's powerful female pharaoh. Our exploration continues at the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of Amenhotep III that silently guard the Theban necropolis. An early start awaits today with pre-packed breakfast from your hotel as we embark on a truly unforgettable journey to Abu Simbel. Accompanied by your private guide, you'll travel south to witness the monumental rock-cut temples of Ramesses II and his beloved queen Nefertari.
