Karnak TempleDay 1: East Bank Wonders & Nile Check-in
Your adventure begins with a comfortable, private transfer from your Hurghada hotel to Luxor. Upon arrival, meet your dedicated Egyptologist guide and immediately dive into the grandeur of Luxor's East Bank. We'll explore the colossal Karnak Temple complex, a city of temples built over two millennia, showcasing the power and piety of ancient Egypt. Following this awe-inspiring visit, board your luxurious 5-star Nile cruise ship and settle into your cabin. After lunch and some time to refresh, we'll venture out again to explore the magnificent Luxor Temple, especially captivating as dusk falls and its ancient stones glow under expert illumination. After soaking in its beauty, return to your ship for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay on the Nile.
- Karnak Temple — Stroll through the vast, open-air museum of Karnak, where colossal pylons, towering columns, and intricate hieroglyphs tell tales of pharaohs, gods, and ancient rituals. This sprawling complex is arguably the largest religious site ever built.
- Luxor Temple by Night — Witness the captivating beauty of Luxor Temple, originally linked to Karnak by a processional avenue of sphinxes. By night, its grand colonnades and courtyards are spectacularly lit, creating an ethereal atmosphere that transports you back in time to ancient festivals.

Valley of the KingsDay 2: Secrets of Luxor's West Bank
After a delightful breakfast on board, prepare for a captivating journey to the West Bank of Luxor, also known as the 'City of the Dead.' Accompanied by your Egyptologist and private vehicle, our first stop is the legendary Valley of the Kings, where New Kingdom pharaohs found their eternal rest in elaborately decorated tombs. We then proceed to the stunning Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, a architectural marvel carved directly into the cliffs, dedicated to one of Egypt's most powerful female pharaohs. Our final stop for the day will be the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous statues that once guarded the entrance to Amenhotep III's mortuary temple. Enjoy lunch and dinner back on the cruise as we prepare to sail south.
- Valley of the Kings — Descend into the earth to explore the richly painted tombs of pharaohs like Tutankhamun and Ramses, marveling at the vibrant artistry and intricate religious texts designed to guide the deceased to the afterlife.
- Hatshepsut's Temple — Admire the unique, multi-terraced design of Queen Hatshepsut's temple at Deir el-Bahari, a masterpiece of ancient Egyptian architecture perfectly harmonizing with its dramatic desert backdrop.
- Colossi of Memnon — Encounter the imposing twin statues of Amenhotep III, silent sentinels that have withstood millennia, offering a glimpse into the scale of monumental construction during the New Kingdom.
Day 3: Edfu, Kom Ombo, and Nile Sailing
Wake up to breakfast on your cruise before we disembark for a journey to the remarkably preserved Edfu Temple, dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus. This Ptolemaic temple is a treasure trove of hieroglyphs and architectural details, offering incredible insights into ancient Egyptian worship. Return to the cruise for lunch as we continue our scenic sailing towards Kom Ombo. In the afternoon, we'll visit the unique double temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to two deities: Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder. Observe the perfectly symmetrical layout, with identical halls and sanctuaries for each god. After exploring Kom Ombo, settle back into your cruise for dinner and a relaxing evening as we continue our journey south.
- Edfu Temple — Step into one of Egypt's best-preserved temples, Edfu, adorned with intricate reliefs depicting the mythological battle between Horus and Seth, and providing invaluable information about ancient customs and beliefs.
- Kom Ombo Temple — Discover the unique dual design of Kom Ombo Temple, dedicated equally to two opposing gods, Sobek (with a crocodile museum on site!) and Haroeris (Horus the Elder), reflecting the sophisticated religious practices of the Ptolemaic era.

Day 4: Aswan's Highlights & Serene Beauty
After a delicious breakfast, our final day of discovery along the Nile begins in picturesque Aswan. Our guided tour will take us to the impressive Aswan High Dam, a monumental engineering feat of the 20th century. Next, we visit the site of the 'Unfinished Obelisk,' still embedded in its ancient granite quarry, offering a fascinating glimpse into Egyptian stone-cutting techniques. Finally, we take a tranquil boat ride to Agilkia Island to explore the enchanting Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, painstakingly relocated to save it from the rising waters of Lake Nasser. Return to your cruise for a final lunch and dinner, enjoying the serene views of Aswan.
- Aswan High Dam — Understand the modern marvel that shaped contemporary Egypt, impacting agriculture and providing critical electricity, while also creating the vast Lake Nasser.
- The Unfinished Obelisk — Gain insight into the colossal ambitions and meticulous craftsmanship of ancient Egyptian quarrymen as you stand beside this immense, partially carved obelisk, abandoned in antiquity.
- Philae Temple — Journey by boat to the exquisite Philae Temple complex, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Its beautiful setting on Agilkia Island, surrounded by the tranquil Nile, adds to its timeless charm.

Day 5: Departure from Aswan
Enjoy one last breakfast on your Nile cruise before checking out. Our team will then ensure your smooth transfer to Aswan train station, where you'll board a comfortable train bound for Qena. Upon your arrival in Qena, a private transfer will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Hurghada, concluding your enriching 5-day Nile cruise and ancient Egypt expedition.
