Day 1: Aswan City Tour - Aswan ONUpon arrival in Aswan, a representative from Travel Joy Egypt will greet you and transfer you by private vehicle to your luxurious Nile cruise ship. Check-in before 12 PM. After lunch onboard, you will visit the High Dam built in 1960 to control flooding. Then a motorboat will carry you to Philae Temple from the Graeco-Roman era dedicated to Isis. Lastly, the unfinished Obelisk from red granite for Amun Ra will be seen. After sightseeing, return to the ship is planned. Evening is unscheduled in Aswan. Lunch and dinner included. Early arrival will commence touring directly to avoid waiting as check-in is at 12 PM.
Breakfast will be served onboard as the Travel Joy Egypt cruise ship starts its journey. An Egyptologist guide will take everyone to Kom Ombo Temple, where the gods Sobek and Haroeris were revered. Returning to the ship, lunch will be enjoyed on the sun deck while viewing the Nile's landscape. Next is a ride by chariot to Edfu Temple, considered one of Egypt's best preserved. The group then returns to relax on the ship. Dinner is served onboard before an evening folkloric show by staff. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Breakfast will be served onboard the Nile cruise ship. Then the magical tour of Thebes' west bank starts including Valley of the Kings burial site. Next is Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a wonderful architecture example carved inside a mountain at Deir El Bahari. After seeing the Colossi of Memnon statues, the group returns to the ship for lunch. The afternoon is free time, followed by dinner and overnight onboard. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
After breakfast at 8:00 AM on the final day, a tour of Luxor's east bank begins including the expansive Karnak Temple complex, believed to be the largest in the world. Witness also Luxor Temple constructed by a 12th dynasty king and finished by Ramses II. Upon completing the sights, a private vehicle from Travel Joy Egypt will transfer guests to their Luxor accommodation, concluding services. Breakfast is included.
Day 1: Luxor East Bank - Luxor ONUpon arrival at Luxor station/airport, a Travel Joy Egypt guide will transfer guests via private A/C van to the Nile cruise. Boarding before noon. Later, a tour begins on Luxor's east side covering Karnak Temples, the largest built in history dating back to 3rd dynasty. It once housed Amun Ra's temple as the god's earthly dwelling. Moving on, visitors see Luxor Temple erected by 12th dynasty rulers and then Ramses II. After touring, guests return to the cruise ship to relax. An evening folkloric show by staff is planned along with dinner. Service is assured not to have guests wait if arrival precedes noon boarding. Lunch and dinner included.

The group returns to the ship, where lunch is provided while sailing to Kom Ombo. Upon arrival, Temple of Kom Ombo is explored, once revered Sobek and Haroeris. Reboarding the cruise, passengers can take in the Nile scenery from the sun deck. Dinner is served during the sailing to Aswan, with an evening arrival and overnight stay there. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included.
Breakfast will be served onboard the cruise ship. Then an Egyptologist guide leads discovery of Aswan including its High Dam built by Nasser in 1960 to regulate Nile flooding. There will be a short boat ride to Agilika Island for exploration of Philae Temple from Graeco-Roman times dedicated to Isis and Horus. Finally, guests see the Unfinished Obelisk, a marvel of Aswan carved from red granite for Amun Ra. Upon returning to the ship after touring, lunch is provided. Afternoon tea is then served onboard before the night is free in Aswan. Dinner and overnight are included.
After breakfast, a representative will transfer guests to the Aswan airport or station to take their flight to Cairo, concluding services.(Optional Tour) Guests choosing the Abu Simbel tour option will be met by an English-speaking guide upon landing in Aswan. They will drive by private A/C van 180 miles south to Abu Simbel, known as Meha in ancient times. Abu Simbel's temples of Ramses II and his beloved wife Nefertari become the focus, with the grand entrance hall dedicated to Ramses and Rahorakhty. Additionally, a smaller temple honors the royal couple. Following sightseeing, the return drive delivers guests either to their Aswan hotel or airport for domestic travel to Cairo. Breakfast included.
