Day 1: Aswan City Tour - Aswan ON Upon arriving in Aswan, a representative from Travel Joy Egypt will greet you and transfer you by private air-conditioned van to your Nile cruise ship. Check-in before 12pm. After lunch onboard, you will visit important landmarks around Aswan. This includes The High Dam built in 1960 to control flooding. A motor boat will take you to Temple of Philae, an ancient temple dedicated to goddess Isis. You will also see The Unfinished Obelisk, a large stone structure for god Amun Ra. After the tours conclude, you return to your ship for the evening. Dinner is included. If arrival in Aswan is early, touring will start upon arrival to make full use of time. Meals included: Lunch Dinner Note: If guests arrive very early, touring will begin straight away to make the most of time before check-in at 12pm.
Breakfast will be served onboard the ship. Then an Egyptologist guide will take you to Temple of Kom Ombo. This temple was dedicated to gods Sobek and Haroeris. After viewing it, return to the ship for lunch on the sun deck while admiring the Nile landscape. In the afternoon, take a chariot to Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of Egypt's best preserved temples. Tour it before returning to the ship. For the rest of the afternoon relax onboard. Dinner will be served with an Egyptian folkloric show by staff in the evening. Breakfast will be served onboard the cruise. Then start a magical tour of Thebes, the sacred land. On the west bank of Luxor, visit the Valley of the Kings, which was the burial site of Pharaohs and ancient Egyptian rulers. Then proceed to Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, one of Egypt's finest architectural sites carved inside a mountain. Conclude at the Colossi of Memnon belonging to King Amenhotep III. After the tours, return to the ship for lunch. The afternoon is free time. Dinner and overnight are spent on the cruise. Meals included: Breakfast Lunch Dinner
After breakfast at 8am on the final day, it is time to check out of the cruise. A tour of Luxor's east bank locations will then start. This includes Karnak Temple complex, considered the world's largest as it covers an area of one hundred. Regarded as the biggest construction in history. The tour finishes at Temple of Luxor established by a 12th dynasty king and finished by renowned king Ramses II. Following the completion of sightseeing, a private air-conditioned van will transfer you to your Luxor destination where services provided by Travel Joy Egypt conclude. Meals included: Breakfast
Day 1: Luxor East Bank - Luxor ON Upon arriving in Luxor via airport or station, a Travel Joy Egypt representative will transfer you to your Nile cruise via private air-conditioned van. Board before 12pm. In the afternoon you will discover Luxor's east bank sites including Karnak Temple complex, considered the largest religious buildings constructed in history dating back to the 3rd dynasty. The main area is dedicated to god Amun Ra. You will also visit Temple of Luxor established by a 12th dynasty king and finished by Ramses II within ancient Thebes. Both temples are devoted to Amun Ra. After the tour concludes you return to the ship to rest. An Egyptian folklore show will be performed by staff in the evening followed by dinner onboard while docked in Luxor. Meals Included: Lunch Dinner Note: If arrival time in Luxor is early, touring will commence directly to make full use of time before check-in at 12pm.

The tour begins at Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of Egypt's best preserved temples. Afterwards, return to the ship where lunch is provided while sailing towards Kom Ombo. Next is exploring Temple of Kom Ombo, formerly dedicated to gods Sobek and Haroeris. Return to the ship for lunch. Enjoy time on the sun deck viewing the scenic landscape of the Nile, birthplace of ancient Egyptian civilization. Dinner is served onboard during transit to Aswan. Arrival in Aswan happens in the late evening where an overnight stay is scheduled. Meals included: Breakfast Lunch Dinner
Breakfast will be served onboard the cruise ship. Then join an Egyptologist guide to discover Aswan including significant attractions. This involves visiting The High Dam built in 1960 by Gamal Abdel Nasser to regulate the Nile's flooding. Next takes a motorboat ride to Agilika Island where the guide will show Temple of Philae, a structure from Graeco-Roman times dedicated to goddess Isis, mother of Horus. The final sightseeing is The Unfinished Obelisk, an immense red granite monument for god Amun Ra. After completing the tours, return to the ship for lunch. Afternoon tea will be served onboard as well. The evening in Aswan is free time, with dinner and overnight provided on the cruise. Meals included: Breakfast Lunch Dinner
After breakfast on the last day of the cruise, a Travel Joy Egypt representative will accompany you to Aswan airport or station for your flight to Cairo. Optional Tour: A day excursion to Abu Simbel is available either by private coach or domestic flight. In Aswan, a guide will transfer guests by private air-conditioned van to the site located south of Aswan on the Nile's western bank. Abu Simbel was formerly known as Meha and contained chapels from the 18th Dynasty. Upon arrival, tour the Abu Simbel Temples constructed by King Ramses II, including the larger temple dedicated to Ramses and the smaller one honoring him and his wife Queen Nefertari. After completing sightseeing, return transport goes to Aswan where travelers can check into a chosen hotel or head to the airport for Cairo. Meals included: Breakfast
