First, you will visit the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa which is considered the most significant Roman cemetery cut in the rock, then you will move to see the Pompay’s pillar which has been constructed in honor of the emperor Diocletian at the end of the fourth century. Have your lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, you will move to visit Qaitbey Citadel, considered one of the most important defensive strongholds. And finish your day trip in Alexandria by visiting the Roman theatre and Alexandria Bibliotheca. Back to your Hotel in Cairo.
Giza tour (Pyramids, Saqqara, Memphis) ..... At 8:45 am You will be picked up by a Travel Joy Egypt tour guide (Egyptologist) from your hotel in Cairo to visit the Three Great Pyramids of Giza Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus. And then proceed to the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Then move to visit the oldest Pyramid in Egypt the Step Pyramid of King Djoser at Saqqara which is considered the first limestone structure in Egypt and its history goes back to the third Dynasty (old Kingdom). In addition, you will see marvelous Tombs that still have the original scenes with their colors still on the walls never changing for more than 4000 years. Then move to visit the Memphis Museum of King Ramses II to witness his colossus statue lying down and the nicest standing in the garden and see also the alabaster of the Sphinx of Memphis. At 3 AM... Travel joy’s guide will pick you up from your Hotel to start your early morning drive to Abu Simbel will take around 3 hours to get there and watch the sunrise on the way to the temple.
