Valley of the KingsDay 1: From El Gouna to Luxor's West Bank Treasures and Karnak's Grandeur
Your private, air-conditioned vehicle awaits to whisk you away from your El Gouna accommodation bright and early. Our destination: the storied city of Luxor, the heart of ancient Thebes. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by your expert Egyptologist guide, ready to unlock the secrets of the West Bank. Our first stop is the legendary Valley of the Kings, the final resting place for New Kingdom pharaohs. Descend into several intricately decorated tombs, marveling at the vibrant hieroglyphs and ancient artistry that recount tales of the afterlife. Next, we journey to the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, a stunning architectural masterpiece carved into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari, a testament to Egypt's powerful female pharaoh. Before crossing to the East Bank, we'll pause at the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous stone statues of Amenhotep III, silent sentinels guarding the plains. Afterward, a delectable lunch will be served at a local restaurant overlooking the Nile. In the afternoon, prepare to be humbled by the sheer scale of the Karnak Temple Complex, a sprawling sacred city built over millennia. Wander through its forest of colossal columns, grand courtyards, and towering obelisks, feeling the weight of history all around you. As the day concludes, we'll transfer you to Luxor's train station for a comfortable, first-class journey to Aswan. Upon arrival, a Travel Joy Egypt representative will assist you with checking into your luxurious 5-star hotel, your home for the night.

- Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut — Admire the unique terraced architecture of Queen Hatshepsut's temple, a pioneering structure that defied traditional design, nestled beneath towering cliffs.
- Colossi of Memnon — Stand before the impressive twin statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, remnants of a once-grand temple, now iconic landmarks of the West Bank.
- Karnak Temple Complex — Immerse yourself in the largest ancient religious site in the world. Walk through the Hypostyle Hall, an awe-inspiring forest of columns, and uncover the layers of history within this vast complex.

Abu Simbel TemplesDay 2: Abu Simbel's Grandeur and Return to El Gouna
An early start awaits, with a breakfast box packed for your journey. We embark on a private, guided expedition south to the awe-inspiring temples of Abu Simbel. These monumental rock-cut temples, built by Ramses II, are among Egypt's most magnificent. Marvel at the Great Temple dedicated to Ramses himself, and the smaller, equally beautiful temple honoring his beloved Queen Nefertari. Your guide will illuminate the incredible history behind their construction and their miraculous relocation. Following our profound visit, we'll return to Aswan for a well-deserved lunch. You'll then board a first-class train back to Luxor, where your private transfer will be waiting to take you comfortably back to your hotel in El Gouna, concluding your unforgettable two-day Egyptian odyssey.
