Day 1: Cairo Arrival & Pyramids Sound and Light Spectacle
Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport (CAI), a Travel Joy Egypt representative will meet your group, assist with luggage, and facilitate passport formalities. You'll then enjoy a comfortable, air-conditioned transfer to your luxurious 5-star hotel for check-in and some relaxation. As evening descends, we'll journey together to the Giza Plateau for an unforgettable Sound and Light Show, illuminating the magnificent pyramids and narrating Egypt's ancient narrative. Afterward, savor a delicious dinner before returning to your hotel for the night.

Giza PyramidsDay 2: Ancient Giza, Grand Museum & Flight to Aswan
After breakfast this morning, we embark on a profound exploration of Egypt's most iconic sites. Our first stop is the Giza Plateau, where the monumental Great Pyramid of Khufu, the last standing Ancient Wonder, and the mysterious Sphinx await. We'll delve into the Valley Temple, a site integral to pharaonic burial rites. Next, prepare to be awestruck by the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), a state-of-the-art facility showcasing millennia of Egyptian artistry and culture, including the breathtaking complete collection of Tutankhamun's treasures. After a delightful lunch with a view of either the pyramids or the Nile, we'll visit the venerated Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square, an institution housing an immense collection of artifacts. In the late afternoon, we transfer to Cairo Airport for a domestic flight to Aswan. Next, discover the Unfinished Obelisk, a massive ancient quarry project that offers insight into pharaonic stone-cutting techniques. Our final stop for the day is the breathtaking Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, beautifully relocated to Agilkia Island to preserve its splendor. Return to your cruise ship for a delicious lunch and dinner, enjoying the serene Nile scenery as you overnight onboard.
