Day 1: Aswan City Tour - Aswan ONUpon arrival in Aswan, a Travel Joy Egypt representative will transfer you by private air-conditioned van to your Nile cruise ship. Check-in before 12 PM. After lunch onboard, you will visit the High Dam built in 1960 by Gamal Abdel Nasser to prevent Nile flooding. Then a motor boat will sail to Philae Temple, built in the Graeco-Roman era for goddess Isis. Your last stop is the Unfinished Obelisk made of granite for Amun-Ra. After the tour, you return to your ship. Nighttime is free in Aswan. Lunch and dinner included.The tour starts on arrival if early to avoid any wait time at the cruise lobby before 12 PM check-in.
Breakfast will be served onboard. Then an Egyptologist guide will lead a visit to Kom Ombo Temple, where Sobek and Haroeris were worshipped, seeing its unique architecture. Back on the ship, lunch is on the sun deck viewing the Nile's landscape. Afternoon features a chariot ride to Horus Temple in Edfu, well-preserved from ancient times. Following the tour, return is to the ship. Dinner and an Egyptian folkloric show are provided in the evening.Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Breakfast onboard. A magical tour in Thebes' sacred west bank explores the Valley of the Kings royal cemetery. Next is Hatshepsut Temple, carved within a mountain, an architectural wonder. Check-out from the cruise is after 08:00 breakfast. A tour then covers Luxor's east bank including Karnak Temples Complex, considered the world's largest at 100 acres. Luxor Temple, built by the 12th Dynasty and finished by Ramses II, concludes the lovely day. A private air-conditioned van then transfers to your Luxor location, ending Travel Joy Egypt services.Meal included: Breakfast
Day 1: Luxor East Bank - Luxor ONUpon arrival in Luxor, a representative will transfer you via private air-conditioned van to the Nile Cruise for check-in before noon. Later, discover the east bank including Karnak Complex, the world's largest structures dating to the 3rd Dynasty. Visit Luxor Temple built by the 12th Dynasty and completed by Ramses II. After touring, transfer back to the ship for rest. An Egyptian show and dinner are in the evening. Overnight in Luxor. Tour starts on arrival if early to avoid waiting at the cruise lobby till 12 PM check-in.Meals included: Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast, a representative accompanies guests to Aswan airport/station for the flight to Cairo, ending our services.Optional tour: Guests can visit Abu Simbel temples bycoach or domestic flight. The guide transfers guests by private air-conditioned van to the temples, first documenting Meha. Abu Simbel landmarks include the massive temple dedicated to Ra-Harakhty built for Ramesses II and the smaller temple honoring him and Nefertari. After touring, transfer back, arriving in Aswan where private van transports guests to their Aswan hotel or the airport for the domestic flight onwards.Meal included: Breakfast
