You stoop for part of the way, and the passages are narrow, warm, humid and often busy. Photography is not permitted inside the Great Pyramid. What Is the Best Time of Day to Visit the Giza Pyramids? Early morning is the best time. The plateau is cooler, the light is softer for photographs and the Great Pyramid is quieter inside. If you prefer a later start, the VIP gate saves you the most time between 9am and noon, when the public queues are longest. Is the VIP Pyramids Tour Suitable for Older Travellers? Yes, for the outdoor part. The golf cart covers every stop on the plateau, so older travellers and guests with limited mobility can see it all without long walks.
