Day 1: From Hurghada to Cairo: Pyramids and Pharaohs
Your adventure begins with a convenient early morning transfer from your Hurghada hotel to the airport for a short domestic flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by your expert Egyptologist guide, whose deep knowledge will bring Egypt's ancient past to life. Our first destination is the awe-inspiring Giza Plateau, home to the last standing wonder of the ancient world. Here, you'll marvel at the magnificent Great Pyramid of Khufu, a monumental testament to ancient engineering and belief, alongside the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure. Our first stop is the fascinating Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, a unique blend of ancient Egyptian, Greek, and Roman funerary art. Next, we visit Pompey's Pillar, a towering Roman triumphal column that dominates the ancient Serapeum site.
