Booking late should feel easier, not riskier. Our process has three steps:

• Send your dates. Message us on WhatsApp or use the form on this page with your arrival date, number of travellers and the tour you like. No payment is needed to ask.
• We check live availability. Our Cairo team checks the actual hotels, Nile cruise cabins and domestic flights for your dates and replies with your confirmed itinerary and your last-minute price, normally within 24–48 hours.
• Confirm and travel. Once you are happy, we confirm the bookings and send the deposit details. From there we handle everything: airport meet-and-greet, transfers, guides, tickets and every hand-off along the way.

Because every Travel Joy trip is private, there is no group departure to fill and no minimum number of travellers. Your trip runs on your dates, even when you book late.

In most cases, yes. What decides it is availability, not paperwork:

• Visa: most nationalities can buy a tourist visa on arrival at Cairo airport (US$30 single entry), or apply online for the e-Visa (also US$30) a few days before flying. Check the details for your passport in our Egypt visa guide.
• Flights: book your international flight first, then send us the arrival time so we can meet you in the arrivals hall.
• Hotels and cruises: these are the part that can sell out. Nile cruise cabins over Christmas, New Year and Easter go first. If your preferred boat is full, we offer the closest equivalent in the same category.
• Day tours: a private pyramids tour or a Cairo city tour can usually be arranged for the next day.

Every tour on this page is one of our top sellers, which is why we can confirm it quickly. Pick by the days you have:

October to April is Egypt's main season, with warm, dry days that suit sightseeing. It is also when late availability is tightest, especially over Christmas and New Year, so book as soon as you know your dates. May to September is hotter, but hotels and cruises have more space, which makes it the easiest time to book late.
