Day 1: Aswan City Tour - Aswan ON Upon arriving in Aswan, a Travel Joy Egypt representative will transfer you by private air-conditioned van to your Nile cruise ship. Board before 12:00 PM. After lunch onboard, you will visit the High Dam built by President Nasser in 1960 to protect from Nile flooding. Then a motor boat will sail to Philae Temple erected in the Graeco-Roman era for Isis. Lastly visit the unfinished Obelisk made of red granite for Amun Ra. Afterwards return to your ship. Evening is free in Aswan. Included meals: Lunch, Dinner Note: If arriving Aswan early, the tour starts directly to avoid waiting at the lobby before 12:00 check-in.
Breakfast will be served onboard the ship. Then join an Egyptologist tour guide to visit Kom Ombo Temple where Sobek and Haroeris were worshipped, seeing its unique construction. Return to the ship and enjoy lunch on the sun deck viewing the Nile’s landscape. Afternoon experience chariot riding to Edfu Temple, one of Egypt’s best preserved, built for Horus. Return to the ship and relax onboard. A dinner and Egyptian folkloric show performed by staff is planned for nighttime onboard. Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Breakfast will be served onboard the cruise. Then start a magical tour of Thebes, the sacred land. Explore Luxor's west bank including the Valley of the Kings, the royal cemetery where Pharaohs were buried. Proceed to Hatshepsut Temple at Deir El Bahari, one of Egypt's best architecture examples carved within a mountain. Conclude at Memnon Colossi belonging to Amenhotep III. Afterwards return to the ship for lunch. Evening is free, followed by dinner and overnight onboard. Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Checkout will be after breakfast at 08:00. Then enjoy a tour of Luxor's east bank including Karnak Temple complex, considered the world's largest covering 100 acres. Complete the lovely day at Luxor Temple constructed by the 12th dynasty king and finished by Ramesses II. After the day tour ends, private air-conditioned transportation will transfer you to your Luxor location where Travel Joy Egypt services conclude. Included meal: Breakfast

Then visit Luxor Temple built by the 12th dynasty king and completed by Ramesses II in the heart of Thebes. After touring, transfer back to your ship for relaxation. Our journey then begins with a tour of Luxor's sacred west bank, including exploring the spectacular Valley of the Kings - final resting place of Theban rulers. Next we'll visit Hatshepsut Temple at Deir El Bahari, one of Egypt's most impressive architectural designs carved within the mountainside. Before returning to the ship for lunch, we conclude at the Colossi of Memnon statues belonging to King Amenhotep III. The afternoon is free for rest and relaxation. Your tour guide will then take you on a mysterious journey starting with a visit to Edfu Temple, one of Egypt's best preserved structures dedicated to Horus. After returning to the ship, lunch will be served as we sail toward Kom Ombo. This afternoon we will explore Kom Ombo Temple where the gods Sobek and Haroeris were once worshipped. Back on the ship, enjoy the sun deck views of agricultural lands lining the great Nile River that supported ancient Egypt's rise. Dinner will be served onboard during our sail to Aswan. Later this evening we will arrive in Aswan where overnight accommodation is provided on the cruise. Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Today breakfast will be served onboard our Nile cruiser. Later, join our Egyptologist guide to explore Aswan city including the High Dam constructed by President Nasser in 1960 to control Nile flooding. Next we'll take a short motorboat ride along the river to Agilika Island to discover Philae Temple dedicated to Goddess Isis. Finally visit The Unfinished Obelisk attraction made of red granite originally planned for Amun Ra. Once the touring concludes, return to the ship where lunch will be provided. Afternoon tea is served onboard before the evening becomes free time. Dinner and overnight stay remains on the cruise while docked in Aswan. Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After breakfast this morning we will checkout from our Nile cruise. Our representative will then transfer us to Aswan airport/train station to catch our outbound flight/journey to Cairo. Optional Tour: An excursion to Abu Simbel is available either by private coach or domestic flight, where we'll be met by an English-speaking guide. They will drive us in air-conditioned transportation to visit the impressive temples of Abu Simbel built by Ramses II. We'll discover the Great Temple dedicated to Rahorakhty and the smaller temple honouring both the Pharaoh and Queen Nefertari. Following the touring, we'll return to Aswan where we'll either check into a hotel for rest or proceed directly to the airport to depart for Cairo. Included meal: Breakfast
