This venerable site was founded by St. Macarius, who chose this very spot for his spiritual dedication and service to the Christian faith. It's a place where you can feel centuries of devotion.
- Monastery of Saint Bishoy — Next, we visit the Monastery of Saint Bishoy, dedicated to Anba Bishoy, who is said to have encountered Jesus Christ himself.
