What Does VIP Include at Giza?
On this tour, VIP means 4 things: a private lounge, a dedicated gate, your own golf cart and a Great Pyramid ticket bought in advance. After hotel pickup, you start in the VIP lounge with welcome gifts, snacks and cold drinks. You then enter the plateau through the VIP gate instead of queuing for a ticket.

Inside the Great Pyramid: What to Expect
You climb the Ascending Passage and the Grand Gallery to reach the King's Chamber. You stoop for part of the way, and the passages are narrow, warm, humid and often busy. Photography is not permitted inside the Great Pyramid.

Lunch comes after the Sphinx, at a restaurant with a view of the pyramids. You choose between Khufu's, Rooftop 7000 and the 9 Pyramids View Lounge. Bottled water and soft drinks are included all day.
What Is the Best Time of Day to Visit the Giza Pyramids?
Early morning is the best time. The plateau is cooler, the light is softer for photographs and the Great Pyramid is quieter inside. If you prefer a later start, the VIP gate saves you the most time between 9am and noon, when the public queues are longest.
Is the VIP Pyramids Tour Suitable for Older Travellers?
Yes, for the outdoor part. The golf cart covers every stop on the plateau, so older travellers and guests with limited mobility can see it all without long walks. Only the Great Pyramid interior is unsuitable, because of its steep, narrow passages. Tell us about any mobility needs when you enquire.

Great Sphinx of GizaYour Egyptologist meets you at your hotel in Cairo or Giza, and a private air-conditioned vehicle takes you to the VIP lounge at Giza.
