Nestled at the foot of Mount Sinai, where Moses is said to have received the Ten Commandments, it offers a glimpse into centuries of religious history, ancient manuscripts, and breathtaking desert scenery. We'll enjoy lunch en route, arriving at your hotel near the monastery for dinner and overnight.

Ras Mohammed National ParkDay 4: St. Catherine's Desert & Ras Mohamed Camping
Today begins with a chance to further appreciate the spiritual tranquility of the St. Catherine area. Later, our adventure continues south to the globally renowned Ras Mohamed National Park. This protected area, where the Gulf of Suez meets the Gulf of Aqaba, is celebrated for its unparalleled biodiversity, both above and below the water. Awaken to the soothing sounds of nature in Ras Mohamed. We'll continue our exploration of this magnificent national park, soaking in its unique ecosystems and panoramic views. Afterward, our journey takes us further along the coast to Nabq Bay, another vital protected area. Here, we'll establish our camp amidst serene desert wilderness, enjoying a peaceful evening by a crackling fire and another night of exceptional stargazing.

Day 7: Abu Gallum's Coastal Charm to Taba's Shores
Greet the dawn over the stunning mountains of Ras Abu Gallum. After a hearty breakfast, we'll continue our coastal journey northward to the charming town of Taba. Renowned for its picturesque beaches and the vibrant turquoise waters of the Gulf of Aqaba, Taba offers a perfect blend of relaxation and scenic beauty. Tonight, we'll set up camp directly on the beach, allowing the rhythmic sounds of the waves to lull you to sleep.

Day 8: Taba's Serenity & Return to Cairo

Day 9: Wadi Degla's Natural Sanctuary & Petrified Forest
Today offers a unique contrast to ancient monuments. After breakfast, we'll venture to the Wadi Degla Protectorate, a natural marvel just outside Cairo. This expansive desert valley boasts striking geological formations, diverse desert ecosystems, and provides a peaceful escape from the city bustle. We'll explore its trails and appreciate the unique flora and fauna. Following this, we'll visit the Petrified Forest, an ancient woodland turned to stone over millions of years, offering a fascinating glimpse into Earth's geological past. Return to your Cairo hotel for the evening.

Our exploration begins in Coptic Cairo, visiting the historic Hanging Church (St. Virgin Mary's Church), and the Ben Ezra Synagogue. We'll also see the Amr Ibn Al As Mosque, one of the oldest mosques in Africa. Lunch will be served at a local eatery. In the afternoon, we'll navigate the bustling lanes of Islamic Cairo, strolling through the vibrant Al Muizz Street, an open-air museum of medieval architecture. Conclude your day with an exhilarating experience at the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar, where you can haggle for souvenirs, spices, and intricate crafts. Return to your hotel after a culturally rich day.

Alternatively, opt for an exciting full-day excursion to Alexandria, 'The Pearl of the Mediterranean.' Explore its Roman and Greek heritage, including the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, Pompey's Pillar, the Roman Amphitheatre, and the magnificent Library of Alexandria. Day 13: Departure from Cairo
