Cabins and Facilities on Board
Each cabin has a French Juliet balcony and an en-suite bathroom. Inside, you get air conditioning, a fridge, a safe, a hairdryer, a phone and satellite TV.
On the MS Royal Esadora, meals are served in the main buffet restaurant. There is an air-conditioned bar and a lounge with a dance floor, and the sun deck has a pool and its own bar. The ship also has a massage room, a boutique with a beauty salon and fitness equipment.

Itinerary
Karnak TempleBoard the ship in Luxor before lunch and settle into your cabin. In the afternoon your Egyptologist takes you through Karnak, from the Avenue of Ram-Headed Sphinxes to the Hypostyle Hall, and on to Luxor Temple. The ship stays moored in Luxor overnight.
Valley of the KingsOptional extras today are a dawn hot-air balloon flight over Thebes and entry to the tombs of Tutankhamun or Seti I. Spend the morning on the West Bank, where your guide takes you into 3 royal tombs at the Valley of the Kings, then on to the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Back on board, the ship sails through the Esna Lock toward Edfu.
At Edfu, a horse-drawn carriage takes you to the Temple of Horus. After lunch on board, you visit Kom Ombo and its twin temple of Sobek and Horus the Elder. The ship then sails on overnight to Aswan.
Unfinished ObeliskIn Aswan you visit the High Dam, then a motorboat takes you across to Philae, the island temple, before you see the Unfinished Obelisk. The afternoon is free, with an optional felucca sail or a visit to a Nubian village.
Enjoy a final breakfast on board before you disembark in Aswan. Travellers with extra time can add an optional early excursion to Abu Simbel. We arrange your onward transfer.
Philae TempleBoard the ship in Aswan before lunch. Then you visit the Aswan High Dam, Philae Temple and the Unfinished Obelisk, and the ship stays in Aswan overnight.
Abu Simbel TemplesAn optional dawn excursion to Abu Simbel suits early risers. The ship then sails to Kom Ombo, where you tour the twin temple of Sobek and Horus the Elder, and continues toward Edfu for the night.
