Overview

Unforgettable 10-day journey! Explore Egypt's Giza Pyramids, cruise the Nile to Luxor, then discover Jordan's Petra and the Dead Sea. Expert-guided tours await.

This 10-day tour pairs Egypt's Nile Valley with a short run into Jordan, covering Cairo, a Nile cruise between Aswan and Luxor, and Petra before finishing in Amman.

The trip opens with a Nile dinner cruise and a day at Giza and Saqqara, followed by Cairo's Coptic and Islamic heritage before a flight to Aswan for the High Dam and Philae Temple. Sailing north, the cruise calls at Kom Ombo and Edfu on the way to Luxor's Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut's temple and Karnak before a flight to Amman. The Jordan leg covers Petra's Siq and Treasury and closes with Mount Nebo, Madaba's mosaics and the Dead Sea.

The route mixes Egypt's temple-and-tomb circuit with Jordan's rock-cut city and desert scenery in a single trip rather than treating either country as an afterthought.

Included are Egyptologist and local Jordanian guides throughout, 5-star hotel and Nile cruise accommodation, domestic flights within Egypt, the international flight between Cairo and Amman, private air-conditioned transfers, listed meals and entrance fees to sites in both countries, plus a Nile dinner cruise in Cairo.

Flights from the traveler's home country, entry visas for Egypt and Jordan, personal expenses, tips and travel insurance are excluded, suiting travelers who want temples and Petra in one compact trip.
