Overview

Experience the best of Egypt in 5 days! Discover Cairo's pyramids, Luxor's temples, and Alexandria's ancient sites with expert guides and comfortable hotels.

This five-day tour covers three destinations, Cairo, Luxor, and Alexandria, using a domestic flight to reach Luxor and a road trip north to the Mediterranean coast. A licensed Egyptologist guide leads every sightseeing day, with meet-and-greet service arranged at each stage of the trip.

Day two covers the Giza Pyramids Complex, the Valley Temple, and the Grand Egyptian Museum, before flying to Luxor for day three, which moves between both banks of the city: the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon on the West Bank, and the Karnak Temple Complex on the East Bank. Day four returns to Cairo and continues on to Alexandria, taking in the Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, Pompey's Pillar, and the Qaitbay Citadel before the day ends back in Cairo.

Three nights' accommodation at a Cairo hotel and one night at a Luxor hotel, round-trip domestic flights between Cairo and Luxor, an expert licensed Egyptologist guide, daily lunch during sightseeing, and entrance fees to every listed site are included in the price.

International airfare, the Egypt entry visa, optional excursions, and gratuities for guides, drivers, and hotel staff are not covered. Fitting all three cities into five days rather than a longer trip, this itinerary suits travelers who want a broad first look at Egypt's ancient, pharaonic, and Greco-Roman sites in one booking.
