Overview

Journey through Egypt's iconic history on this 6-day group tour. Explore Cairo's pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum, then cruise the Nile to Luxor…

This 6-day group tour combines two nights in Cairo with a three-night Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor, connected by domestic flights between the two legs.

Day one includes an evening Sound and Light Show at the Giza Pyramids. Day two covers the Sphinx, the Valley Temple, and the Grand Egyptian Museum, before flying to Aswan. The cruise portion covers Aswan's High Dam and Philae Temple, sailing north to the Temple of Horus at Edfu and the double temple of Kom Ombo.

In Luxor, the itinerary takes in Karnak Temple on the east bank and the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut's Mortuary Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon on the west bank, before a flight back to Cairo for departure.

A certified Egyptologist guide leads sightseeing throughout, both in Cairo and along the cruise, with air-conditioned private vehicle transfers on land and professional meet-and-greet service at each airport. Two nights in a 5-star Cairo hotel and three nights aboard a premium 5-star Deluxe Nile cruise ship are included, along with the domestic flights, entrance fees to every site, and all applicable government taxes and service charges.

International airfare, the Egyptian entry visa, and gratuities for guides, drivers, and cruise staff are not included.

Built around a short Cairo stay followed by a three-night cruise, this itinerary suits group travelers who want the Nile Valley's major temples seen by boat rather than a longer road-based circuit.

  • Two nights Cairo plus three nights aboard a Nile cruise ship
  • Domestic flights Cairo–Aswan and Luxor–Cairo included
  • Certified Egyptologist guide throughout
  • Kom Ombo and Edfu temples included on the cruise
