As evening descends, commence your Egyptian adventure with an enchanting dinner cruise on the Nile. Giza PyramidsDay 2: Unveiling Giza's Ancient Wonders & the Grand Egyptian Museum
After a delightful breakfast at your hotel, your dedicated Egyptologist guide will accompany you to begin an unforgettable exploration of Egypt's most iconic sites. Our journey starts at the legendary Giza Pyramid Complex, an archaeological marvel from the 4th Dynasty, dating back to approximately 2600 BC. Here, witness the prodigious Great Pyramid of King Khufu, towering to a remarkable 138.5 meters (454.4 ft), a testament to ancient engineering crafted from 2.3 million limestone blocks. Next, encounter the mythical Great Sphinx, carved during King Khafre's reign (2558–2532 BC), a powerful symbol of wisdom and strength, with the revered Dream Stele of Thutmose IV nestled between its paws. Our first stop is the colossal Karnak Temple Complex, an immense ancient religious site that served as the spiritual heart of Thebes for millennia.
