Day 1: Aswan City Tour - Aswan ON On the first day of the tour, upon arrival in Aswan, a Travel Joy Egypt representative will greet you and transfer you by private air-conditioned van to your Nile cruise ship. Check-in before 12 noon, then have lunch on board. You will then visit the Aswan High Dam built in 1960 to control flooding, before sailing by motorboat to Philae Temple dedicated to Isis. See also the Unfinished Obelisk made for Amun-Ra, then return to the ship. In the evening, enjoy free time in Aswan. Transfers and tours will start as early as possible on arrival to make full use of time. Lunch and dinner are included.
On the next day, breakfast will be served on board the ship. Then join a licensed Egyptologist guide to visit the Kom Ombo Temple dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris. Return to the ship and enjoy lunch on the sundeck overlooking the scenic Nile landscape. Spend the afternoon exploring the impressive Temple of Horus in Edfu, renowned for its preservation. Back on the ship, unwind in the afternoon. Dinner will be provided on board followed by an evening show of Egyptian folklore performed by the staff. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included.
The next day starts with breakfast on the cruise. Then embark on a tour of Luxor's west bank including the Valley of the Kings royal burial site where Pharaohs were laid to rest. Visit Hatshepsut's Temple at Deir El Bahari, noteworthy for its mountain carvings. See also the Colossi of Memnon statues of Amenhotep III. Return to the ship for lunch. Spend the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight are on board the cruise. breakfast, lunch and dinner are included.
On the last day, checkout is at 8am after breakfast. Discover Luxor's East Bank including the immense Karnak Temples Complex spanning 100 acres. Conclude the tour at Luxor Temple constructed by the 12th Dynasty and finished by Ramesses II. After finishing the sightseeing, you will be transferred by private air-conditioned van to your accommodation in Luxor, where Travel Joy Egypt's services conclude. Breakfast is included.
Day 1: Luxor East Bank - Luxor ON For the 5 days program starting every Monday, upon arrival at Luxor airport or station, a Travel Joy Egypt representative will transfer you by private air-conditioned van to your Nile cruise ship. Check-in before 12pm. That afternoon you will explore Luxor's east bank including the immense Karnak Temples Complex, considered the largest religious structures ever built dating back to the 3rd Dynasty. Also visit Luxor Temple constructed in the 12th Dynasty. Return to the ship for leisure time. An Egyptian folkloric show will be on board in the evening followed by dinner. Lunch and dinner are included. Transfers and tours will start as early as possible on arrival to make full use of time.
On the second day, travelers will start with breakfast on the cruise. Then they will tour the sacred lands of Thebes on Luxor’s west bank including the Valley of Kings burial site for Pharaohs. Next is Hatshepsut's Temple at Deir El Bahari, renowned for its architecture carved within the mountain. The tour concludes at the Colossi of Memnon statues. Following this, guests will return to the ship for lunch. The afternoon is free for leisure activities. Dinner and night accommodation is provided on board the cruise vessel. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included.
On the next day of the tour, breakfast will be served aboard the cruise ship. Then an Egyptologist guide will take visitors on a tour starting with the Temple of Horus in Edfu, considered one of the best preserved temples. After returning to the ship, lunch will be served while sailing to Kom Ombo. In the afternoon the group will explore Kom Ombo Temple dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris gods. Back on board, enjoy the scenery of River Nile where ancient Egyptian civilization flourished. Dinner will be provided during sailing to Aswan, arriving in the late evening for overnight stay. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included.
On the next day, breakfast will be served aboard the cruise ship. Then join the Egyptologist guide to discover Aswan city including the Aswan High Dam constructed in 1960 to control Nile flooding waters. Take a motorboat ride to Agilkia Island to visit Philae Temple built for Goddess Isis. The unfinished Obelisk, a tribute to Amun Ra is also part of the tour. Return to the cruise after the sightseeing ends and lunch will be provided. Enjoy afternoon tea on board. The evening is free before dinner and overnight stay in Aswan. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
On the last day, guests will check out after breakfast. The representative will then transfer them to Aswan airport or station for their flight to Cairo, while breakfast is included. Optional Tour: Visitors have the option to join a day excursion to Abu Simbel temples by private coach or domestic flight. An English-speaking guide will drive them by air-conditioned van to the site located south of Aswan. After arriving, travelers will explore the two famous temples of Ramses II – the larger Great Temple dedicated to Rahorakty and the smaller one dedicated to the King and his wife Nefertari. At the end of sightseeing, they will return to Aswan where they can check into a hotel to relax or head to the airport to catch their flight to Cairo as per preference.
