Itinerary
Your desert adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your Cairo or Giza hotel. We'll set off on a comfortable, air-conditioned drive to the Bahariya Oasis, approximately 350 kilometers southwest of the capital. Along the way, we'll pause for two refreshing breaks. Bahariya is historically significant as a primary source of iron ore, a fact evident in the railway lines traversing the landscape. Upon arrival in Bahariya, our expert 4x4 safari guide will welcome you, ready to navigate the rugged terrain. Our first stop is the striking Black Desert, named for its volcanic rock-covered hills. This oasis once thrived as a Roman settlement, and we'll enjoy a delicious, authentic Egyptian lunch here.
